It's been brought up before. I will consider doing this early in the year. Right now I am too busy to investigate the chat options available. Some of them are unfortunately pretty pricey. Before I do that, though, I need to upgrade the forum software. A new version was released recently that has some pretty nice features, so I'd like to get up to date on that before I add anything else..

a chat room or Im service would be amazing, but i know it is probibally a lot of work. Still be nice though.

If it costs a good chunk to getting going\purchase the software Al just take donations from members who are intrested to cover the costs of start up for the chat. I bet the finacial side of things would get covered in a snap that way. Although the man hours part is still gonna be time consuming no matter what but at least it wouldn't have to come out of your pocket. You can't be expected to put all things AA on your back and out your wallet. I for one will donate as soon as any fund is setup.
