Ze_ro #8 Posted December 28, 2006 Just a few of my resolutions: Buy more games that I know I will never play, not even to test them. Make sure to never actually FINISH any games that I do play, just get partway through and lose interest. Completely lose touch with what games I have so that I accidentally buy more doubles every time I go to the thrift store. Buy European games and systems and completely ignore PAL/NTSC and power requirements, largely due to resolution #1. Replace all my terrible S-Video cables with nice RF converters. Rearrange my collection so that all my boxes are at ground level in my basement during flood season. Attempt to peel stickers off my Dreamcast games, and break the jewel cases in the process. Rearrange my video game magazine collection, making sure to tear off at least 2 or 3 covers trying to stuff them into my bookshelf (Video Games & Computer Entertainment, I'm looking in your direction!) Upgrade my PC several times, despite the fact that the only PC games I play are Doom and Nethack. Plug all my consoles AC adapters into a single wall outlet so the arson investigators will have an easier time figuring out what started the fire. Start building a 5200 controller from scratch, only to become distracted half-way through and never finish it. I think there's a good chance I'll be able to stick to my resolutions this year --Zero

I play all my games at 480i, and they're still plenty fun and look great. --Zero

Gabriel #24 Posted December 29, 2006 Buy an Xbox 360 and join Gamefly. I forget, do I really need an HD TV before I get an Xbox 360? If so, also get an HD TV. No. You don't really need a HDTV to play the XBox 360. However, getting a HDTV is a real eye opener. You see the generational jump, BIG TIME.
Chickybaby #25 Posted December 29, 2006 Well, since resolutions always seem to be meant to be broken mine is to not buy Hubbs any more Castlevania games, they drive me insane. I can't stand it - he can sit for hours at a time playing those darn things and be so absolutely content, lol! *grr* ... So anyway, when is the next one due out and on what system so I can start saving money? It's so nice to see him happy and enjoying games. I love buying him presents! Man am I whupped or what?
