You can put ds roms, movies, and mp3s on the memory card and the ds will play them.
Abman #5 Posted January 1, 2007 Congrats on getting a DSL. It's become one of my favorite portable systems, that's not really saying much though. I believe the best is still to come how ever. I love how Square Enix is supporting it like it was a Sony system . I do feel some of Nintendo's first party games could use a little more effort and the Wi-Fi connection has it's problems, but overall it's a great system to own. It's the best Nintendo system in years. I just hope it doesn't end up like the Game Boy Advance, endless remakes and four bad games for every one good game. Avid Fan #6 Posted January 1, 2007 I found out that the wi-fi is really reliable if you lower the speed like it tells you to. Once I did that, it hasnt disconected on me once. BTW, even though I'm already using wi-fi, how far can you play wi-fi from the USB thingy? Is it as good as a router?

Its really tempting to sell my Gray DS, flashed, with a SuperCard and 2GB Mini sd card...
Avid Fan #8 Posted January 1, 2007 Maximum connection speed, it should be set to 1 or 2 MBPS

Lord Helmet #14 Posted January 8, 2007 Watch out for the hinges! :!:Huh? Is there a problem with the DS Lite hinges? They are basicly junk. They break easy Jim Actually, Nintendo has stated that they fixed that. There was something wrong with the machine that made them, or something. I don't think they ever fixed anything. I am on my 3rd ds lite...and its hinge is cracked (just liek the other ones). I am sending it back to Nintendo for another replacement this week. ls650 #15 Posted January 8, 2007 That's surprising to me. I haven't had any problems with my DS Lite... so far.... How does it break, exactly?
