change 220v mega st 1 power supply for 120v-can i?

i have a european(german to be precise) model mega st 1

it takes 220v

instead of getting a step up transformer or whatever it's called to use it in my home-in USA-would it be possible to swap the power supply for a US model one?

is it just a straight swap?

anyone ever done it?

can i use the power supply from a 1040st or are they different?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes it is a straight swap, just get one from a US mega or a megafile and you will be good to go.
