In the interest of keeping the lines of communication somewhat civil and open across the wide range (or trench) that is the Jaguar Community, I thought it´d be great to hear what people think of the two early Jagware/Removers releases. And please, let´s keep the bashing to a minimum. Criticism targetted at the games is of course acceptable as long as it doesn´t get personal.

So which one do you reckon is best and why? None of them are major endeavors, but nobody said that size matters when it comes to the amount of fun you can have with a game.

My vote goes to DiamJag. I like the concept better than that of Atomic and the "light" atmosphere coupled with the Jazzy tune really seems to agree with me.

Atomic is a more difficult game, that I need to spend some more time with, but so far DiamJag´s the winner in my book.

In my mind, Diamjag is more interesting for 2 reasons :

- it's an original product

- gfx & sounds are better

In another way, I prefer playing at Atomix :) but I think objectively that finally Diamjag is still more interesting.

(& I don't forget that Atomix was an attempt to port a GPL game on Jaguar made in a short time)

sorry Seb ;p

DiamJag by far, quite a fun little game for free but along way from being a commercial product.

I have not yet played either as I have too much coding to do , but let me just say that even with

all our differences, Jagware was cool to release them to everyone. A noble effort and a good job!

More action like this and less arguing and we can all put out great new games for Jag of all genres!
