Atarian7 #1 Posted January 6, 2007 (edited) http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-2600-Game-system...1QQcmdZViewItem ...just plain stupidity? Maybe some of those boxes are rare?? I've been seeing a lot of the medium sized lots with common/scarce games going for high prices. I wonder if this is a just a general trend or if there is a lot of shilling going on. Starhopper #4 Posted January 7, 2007 . . .Or just a bunch of neophytes that don't know any better. Look at the bidding history. . . The last eBayer with experience stopped at $25.00 . Of course, one or a couple of the newbies could be decoy accounts to pad the bid

Atarimania75 #7 Posted January 7, 2007 I was watching this auction myself I guess someone really wanted that Bachelor Party in Box! I would have sold them one for $150 no problem. LOL
Prodos8 #8 Posted January 7, 2007 It's not even a heavy system and the winning bidder has no history. Definite shiller.
lemoncurry #9 Posted January 7, 2007 eBay would disagree. The only other thing they have bid on was another 2600 system from a different seller. I have reported what looks like shilling to me, such as an ID that only bids on a certain seller's auctions, and only has feedback from that seller, and the items get relisted not long after, and STILL eBay does nothing... Starhopper #10 Posted January 7, 2007 It's not even a heavy system and the winning bidder has no history. Definite shiller. At that price, it'd be nice if it came with joysticks. Not too many paddle games in the mix.
A.J. Franzman #11 Posted January 7, 2007 A wall wart and RF switchbox would be nice too.
