Back in January of 2013 I picked up home theater keyboard for use with the Mac mini that drives my HDTV. The keyboard worked OK, though typing on it was a bit tedious and I had minor communication issues with the USB dongle that necessitated the use of a USB extension cord to get it out from behind all the AV equipment.
For the past few months I've been having issues with the mouse buttons - they wouldn't always respond to presses. Trying to double-click in particular was getting to be rather annoying.
Yesterday, after picking up my new iPhone 6S Plus at the Apple store in the Galleria, I stopped in at MicroCenter to take a look at other options. None of the HTPC keyboards appealed to me, so I wandered over to their Apple department where I discovered Henge Docks' Clique - it turns Apple's bluetooth keyboard and trackback into a single unit for easy use in your lap:
It works well.
