Quicker Input Switching

To switch inputs on my Dell P2715Q monitors I'd been hitting one of the four buttons(any will do) to active the monitor's menu:

Then hitting the second button from the top to specify Input Source:

In the Input Source submenu the first and second button move the selection up/down while the third button confirms the selection (fourth button is used to abort - it'll close the menu without switching inputs). It works, but now that I'm having to switch inputs on both monitors* it's become tedious as each display required a minimum of 4 button presses to switch inputs.

Last night I was looking at the various options in the Menu (if you hit the third button right after activating the menu) and discovered that the first two menu options are actually user selectable Shortcut Keys:

I never change the Preset Modes, so I changed the first shortcut to DisplayPort:

And the second shortcut to mini DisplayPort:

So now it's just 2 key presses to switch sources(first keypress activates the menu, second keypress selects the source):

Much nicer! One of my monitors is hooked up to a third system, via the HDMI port, which now takes longer to switch to it. However, I only use that system 3 or 4 times per month, so it's not a big deal.

*with the old monitors the KVM would switch inputs for one of the monitors
