Game Gear lover
The more I play the Game Gear, the more I'm enjoying it. It is a miniature Genesis. I know, it's supposed to be a mini Master System, but I think most of the titles are on-par, graphics and sound wise, at least, with the Genesis. Today, Junction, Dynamite Headdy and 4 empty Game Gear cases arrived at my house. Now I have 3 left in case I want to buy a few games from eBay that don't come with their own cases (Dynamite Headdy came "naked"). I initially look for games that do come with the cases, though. I don't know why, though, a loose copy just doesn't feel like a complete loose copy unless it comes with a plastic clam-shell case. Poor naked Game Gear games. So anyway, I might get an Emerson Arcadia 2001 tomorrow. I don't know how high of a price they'll try to sell it to me at. I have dibs on it though. It's good to visit your local trade-in used video game shop at least once a week for a few years so you get to know them and they get to know you and what stuff you like. Although I'm still looking for a Colecovision unit. They have about a dozen Colecovision games that just sit there. Mainly because I don't have a Colecovision. And I also need to get a new container for my Game Gear games. My Game Gear game collection has outgrown the small box I first put it in. Makes you wonder why Nintendo didn't go with a color handheld to start with. Yeah, Tetris, but think how much more fun it would have been if you had Tetris, portable, and IN COLOR!
