Music

So I was composing music today. The first piece for the GoSub title screen music was good, but, as someone else noted, didn't really fit the theme of the game. So I went to work again. The second attempt is what's up on the GoSub page now. I liked the bass part from the first song (C,G,A,E), so I kept it in there. I had a little trouble coding A sharp, though. I thought it would be A#5, but in fact it's A5#, which looks really awkward to me. But no sharps are used in the second song I composed. I find it a lot easier to compose stuff in the key of C major since it usually doesn't have any sharps or flats in it. I kept the code for the first song. It may come in use if I make another Intellivision game after GoSub. Like I said, this (week-long!) journey has been difficult for me, as I don't understand the new hardware I'm working with. That and I learn stuff by tweaking examples. It's how I learned Odyssey 2 assembly and I still don't understand its hardware. I thought my INTV 2 was toast since a few nights ago, the light in my room shone brighter pulses for a couple times. And then I heard a big bang outside. I thought I was going to lose power. Fortunately, all I lost was the internet, and it was back on in a matter of minutes. But I tested my Game Gear and INTV, both of which were plugged in at the time, and they still work. They are doing weird stuff in my neighborhood and they said we were going to lose power, but not at 5 in the morning! I am so anxious to try GoSub on my INTV and see if it works OK.
