So after finally getting my Intellivision to play music, motivated by the Astrosmash album, I decided to make my own album of Intellivision music. The first track is called "Black Void" and you can hear it using a jzINTv emulator if you go to the Intv programming thread and looking at the "using the Intellivision as a musical instrument." I've pondered doing something similar with the Atari 2600, but with the Intellivision, you can actually put notes in instead of values. I like this first song, but I am working on a second one. This second song uses the drum percussion sounds and I am calling it "Bring Forth Demons!" I don't know, perhaps I'll name every song something that begins with B. The reason I didn't want to use drums on the first track was because I wanted a "space-y" sound to it. This second track will be using drums. I was asleep all day for some reason. Must be the weather. I woke up and it was raining. I worked hard on making Black Void be at least three minutes long. I want to reach the four minute mark sometime during all this. Perhaps I will.
