Title Match Pro Wrestling (Atari 2600)
Long-time blog readers know that I suck when it comes to video games. But I enjoy making them. I enjoy making ones that I can beat. Perhaps that's why hardly anyone else likes my creations. Anyway, I fired up Stella and attempted to play Title Match Pro Wrestling. I pressed the button rapidly. I pressed the button and joystick combinations. I read the manual. Even then, I was unable to get anywhere. Mad Dog beat me each and every time. Well, since this seems like a normal video game, I want to know all about it. I feel the urge to work on Insecticide for Virtual Boy again. I need to know how the AI on this simple Title Match Pro Wrestling game has such intelligent AI and can beat me every time I play it. Perhaps gaining insight on how the AI works on this simple little 8k game can teach me AI making fundamentals that I can use to make Insecticide. For Virtual Boy programming, I use C. I'm almost finished making the game, I just want to finish Insecticide. But not knowing AI programming is in the way of that dream. I'm going to work on making a few changes to the intro screen, replacing a few things. I'm thinking about replacing the "Oktavia" screen with one that says "Chris's Chrappy Chreations presents". I'm going to make a better background for the screen where all the insects are standing on leaves.
