So I get this game. It kept telling me once I put it in that game data won't be saved because I need at least 9 blocks of data. I was wondering why it kept giving the message when I had a whole bunch of room on my VMU. So after trying a whole bunch of various VMUs I had, I went ahead and started the game anyway. I was able to enter my name and create a file. Since I never learned how to drive, I don't know whether to choose automatic or the other one. I guess next time I should choose automatic because my car was swerving all over the place in the mud cave. After my trial to see if the game would save, it said it saved my new record time on the track (the first time.) To see if it was telling the truth (some stupid games lie), I turned it off and turned it back on again. I still got that same dumb message. I went past it and I picked my name, and lo and behold, my time for the track in Time Trials was there. So why bother putting in that dumb message at the beginning if you CAN save your data? And all this time I thought my console was suddenly having a problem reading the VMU. Actually, I don't know what was wrong since my VMU files were being read when I turned the console on with no game and going to "File." Also, to add to the frustration, there was a sticker on the jewel case that was a pain to get off. They used too much glue on it. I used Goo Gone to get rid of the stickiness the sticker left behind. I checked to see if the other game I got, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, worked. It did. Now I have a few games to get started playing when I get around to it. The problem is, I never get around to it. Oh well. I did however, finally beat New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the 3DS, years after buying it, last night. I guess I stopped at 6-4 because I couldn't beat it. Or I couldn't beat the castle, or something. But I eventually did after losing many of my 68 lives. I think I was down to 60 when I finally beat Bowser for the last time. That game is too hard.

This was a launch game I believe. Nothing special , but its visuals seemed great on 9/9/99. The controls were improved from the original Japanese version. I thought it was fun for a while. Always use automatic until you get the hang of it.
