Important Kevin Vs. Tomatoes announcement

I just got the boards today and the game works fine on 16:9 TV sets, but part of the score is not going to show up on 4:3 ones since I accidentally made the score show up more to the right than it should have been. Lesson learned. I will try to center stuff more next time so it will be usable on all TV types.
Here is a picture of the game on a 16:9 aspect ratio TV.

Putting the board together for mine was a real chore because I had to figure out how the springs fit on since they got unattached when I opened the first one up. So now what's left to do is some more putting together of some more cartridges, manual printing, and label getting and mailing box getting. So there's still work to be done.

I figured it was going to work well since it was showing everything on MESS, but I guess I didn't take into account that MESS shows a 16:9 picture.

I emailed a pic of my TV to e5frog and he said that it was my CRT TV that was wrong and it worked fine on his. I guess I'll try to find another CRT TV to test on this weekend. Does Goodwill still have any?

Interesting! While I noticed there is a setting in MESS under Options -> Default System Options -> Advanced to set aspect ratio, my copy of Channel F MESS (yes, it is a specific installation with just that module) doesn't seem to honor whatever values I put there, nor does it run in a smaller window even if I ask it to do so.

I couldn't get MESS to honor my requests, either. It says it's showing it in 4:3 but when I go to open a game, it's 16:9 all the time. And I even asked it to show the screen upside down. It wouldn't.
