  4. Hi All, I have decided not to include the CALL DUMP routine, it was made for only for the EPSON type dot matrix printer, with a bucket load of control characters. I have spotted an error in one of the previous lines: 31100 M=AM :: P1$=SEG$("RL DUE FGH",AM,1):: IF P2$<>P1$ THEN Z$=STR$(H):: P$(A)=P$(A)&P2$&RPT$("0",2-LEN(Z$))&Z$ Here is the Demo part of the program: 99 ! 5. https://github.com/jedimatt42/tipi/wiki/CPLD-Programming-With-PI#installing-xc3sprog It seems like some of you all are using some sort of ancient archive of the wiki or some third-party docs... If that is the case, I would recommend throwing them out. The wiki changes along side most updates to the TIPI software.
  6. This ^ 😂 I've given up that fight long ago. I just keep a trash email address to give out and a wired phone number that is not even connected to a receiver. Everybody is happy.
  7. This was in the mid-90's. Radio Shack sold these cheap handheld LCD TV's with dubious image quality, but hey they worked well enough!
  8. This is exactly what happened to me and now I'm opening it up
  9. Looking forward to hearing more news about the portable/handheld. When is the next trade show where My Arcade would be likely to preview it next?
  10. AMS was the original designation of the SAMS card when it was just a 128k to 256k card. When it started going higher in capacity, it was renamed the SAMS. I believe this references that original name.
  11. Not sure if it's that simple (I am no expert here), when it comes to cart tech. See here from another thread: Original question: 22 hours ago, khaibitgfx said: I have a question for those m9re knowledgeable than I when it comes to this sort of technology. Would it be possible to have this game on a cartridge where the cartridge itself supplies to extra memory for a 64k 800XL, basically along the lines of what Nintendo had done with the legend of Zelda on the NES. **** Personally I'd like to see more games take advantage of at least 64k, but more take advantage of 128k. I've said it many times, but the likes of Prince of Persia or Time Wizard wouldn't nearly be as good as they turned out to be, without the 128k.
  12. Ah, that's why I was having trouble too, more than likely. I'll look for that xc3sprog soon.
  13. My times from 5/10 to 5/12 were as follows: Android 1) Retro Bowl - 35 minutes PC Modern 1) Balatro - 10 minutes 2) Fallen City Brawl (demo) - 15 minutes GBC 1) Test Drive Off-Road 3 - 30 minutes SNES / Super Famicom 1) Super Indy Champ - 45 minutes
  14. Make me an electronic billing method which is reliable and we can talk. I have tried electronic billing from several providers, and none of them were as reliable as the old paper methods. Plus, once these motherpluckers get your cell phone or email address, there is an onslaught of bullshit and garbage coming from them. This in an of itself introduces another layer of unreliability as their domains start building up spam scores. Not sure why I have to explain this to some people, but no one is entitled to either my email address or my cell phone number. I have become more slack on my email as I still use it as an off-line method of communication (and can have unlimited throw-away email addresses as I run the servers.) But why should I be forced to give the tire shop my cell phone number? Why should I have to give my cell phone number to the pimple-faced host at the steakhouse, cost-shifting their seating system onto me at the very least? Call me a Boomer, call me old and out of touch, call me whatever, just get the frak off my lawn. I remember those luxuries becoming available some time well after I took road trips with my family. Before that, I entertained myself with coloring books, comics, Transformers and Legos, drawing, or singing to the radio with my parents (or sometimes just pestering them.) During the 80s, Radio Shack and others made LCD games more readily available (beyond the LED football games and Nintendo Game-and-Watch,) so I had a few of those to tote around at some point, as well. Though, I had to turn the volume pretty much off as those high-pitched tones can find their way right to an adult human's spine. Oh, how I wanted my computer to be portable. Instead, I would often work on programs or think up game ideas on the trip.

  17. Other than Ex-EER-ee-on, what else could it be? That one seems pretty cut and dried to me. As for Jaleco, I'm pretty sure that name originated as a portmanteau for Japan Leisure Company, so for many years I've been saying Ja-LEE-co since that would seem to be more consistent with the origin of the name. But it seems like most people say JA-luh-co, which is how I remember saying it as a kid. And, I could be mistaken, but I seem to remember firing up a console game semi-recently where the company's logo came on the screen and a voice said the name, with the pronunciation being more in line with JA-luh-co. I have no idea what game it was... possibly something on Wii? Not sure.
  18. I’ve never heard of this egg before thanks for sharing.
  19. I would never suggest the Nomad (or the Turbo Express) without the caveat that it’s basically useless if you don’t replace the screen those things sucked even when they were new.
  20. Ys is always a game recommended to me as one of the ones to get if I ever got that Turbo CD I’m always saying I’m gonna buy is it actually a worthwhile pickup if I have no nostalgic value from it?
  21. @kat71753 Nice custom arts for the cartridges At least Springer I am pretty sure we have at least a Cart image, maybe a prototype dump. Springer-8-32KB.bin
  22. Hi everyone! I apologize for the delay in responding and really appreciate everyones help! Yesterday I was able to replicate the error, but this time it was a different. Still seems to only happen during combat. I did some LIST of the lines I thought might be relevant, hoping these clues help? I also looked at the memtest link, but the description on that github link says it's for fixing a conflict between corcomp and Myarc cards. Should I still try to run that?

  24. You had problems with your cart before - What was the solution to make it work?
  25. Only SAM Coupé (8 bit computer from 1989) can beat stock Atari 800/400 from 1979! Atari with VXBE beats most of 16 bit computers? First computer I played games on was a PC with European CGA! @ilmenit said Rasta Converter could be still improved! Imagine cartridge games running on a stock Atari 800 / 400 with images made using latest version of Rasta Converter! Methinks cheap cartridges (like 1-2 euro per piece, produced in bulk?) would make almost all RAM upgrades not necessary...

I have a project for a sd slot mod for the lynx in the closet since long time. Thought of using this gfx for the menu, but I think that something simpler is better. My idea is to use something like the homebrew launcher on the 3ds, but the limited number of colors makes it difficult to define a generalized icon template.
