  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks, I'll return the 8bitdo dongle then and order one of these. No 3d printer yet so i'll have to figure something out.
  3. The other thing you can do -- remember the Classic99 debugger can show you the contents of memory. You can view the contents of FFFC after loading it to make sure it has the values you expect. Glad you made it work! You might be the first person to actually use that debug message.
  4. Nice Panasonic SVHS deck too. I'm assuming it is an AG-DS555P?
  5. I was testing my Jaguar today with a jag2gen, retrovision cables, ossc, into my 4k monitor this afternoon and was very happy to see it was working. I had rebooteroids plugged in at first and then changed to the rebooted cart and played a little downfall. I turned everything off to move things around and when I connected it all back up and turn it on, the power led would light but the screen stayed black, no Jaguar logo, no red screen, just blackness. I also tried composite output and a separate power supply and still a black screen. I tried just now again with composite and black screen as I was typing this post and black screen. Pulled the cart and reinserted and hit the power button and this time the rebooted cart came up. I pulled that cart and plugged in the gamedrive and turned it on and the gamedrive put up a menu "Cart Connection Fault Please remove, clean, and reinsert the GameDrive cart." I'm sure my cart is clean, and the rebooted and rebooteroids carts are new. Any idea what is going on? Is my cart connector damaged? I looked with a lighted magnifying glass but couldn't see anything obvious. Do I have dirty contacts on my cart connector or maybe something in the electronics of the console is going bad and causing the GameDrive to think it's a cart connection issue?
  6. That's what I was missing, thank you!
  7. If anyone doesn't want to make one for themselves, I've built another batch. They're available at videogamepcbs.com .
  8. Well, I still can't find the official joystick extension cable on amazon.fr (france) 😭
  9. I've built another batch of these... available at videogamepcbs.com
  10. Both models I have are put up. Only the original model (Model 1) has a decent collection because I neglected my other model (Model 2) which I had bought first before. Then I bought the original model later and I enjoyed it more. The photo is when I had it out. I bought it back out now. GENESIS DOES.
  11. That's so interesting. Thanks for sharing. The switches are really interesting. I wonder how they map to the Odyssey cards? It doesn't seem like it can do all the configurations. What a great find.
  12. Wow. I can’t believe how quickly this has progressed! I’ll be turning this around quickly. Anthony
  13. I'll be honest by saying that I never cared for Fallout, even when Interplay and Black Isle were in charge of the series. (The first two Diablo games were better.)
  14. That was a heck of a story that finally ended well In case anyone wonders, the M51342P is a clone of the LM1889 except for a small details as the M51342P takes 9V instead of 12 to 18 volts for the LM1889.
  15. Congrats to the winner! (I'd placed a bid (low #s are cool) but lost out... )
  16. Today
  17. Ah, you're the one who made the case? It was my question on the discord. I've printed it allready. Thanks!
  18. I have it as well. It works great. I use it with my PS4 controllers. It also has a dual joystick mode so one can use the the analog sticks on the PS4 to act like two joysticks. A lot of fun with Robotron and Space Dungeon. @chevymad: Since you have it, in case you are interested, I had created a case for it: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6479281 https://www.printables.com/model/760253-unijoysticle-2-atari-xl-version-case
  19. Just you need to have controllers that have been covered allready. Or ask Riq nicely to make the one you have compatible. I asked about the modern Atari VCS controller and he fixed it right up. My older xbox controllers didn't work, but new one does.
  20. Never saw this before, that's pretty cool, I'll have to look for some. Just probably like most cleaners, don't get it on the labels.
  21. Will those who preordered from the website receive theirs before or after retail?
  22. And Or a PDF file sized so it fits in the box. Anyone can print on photo paper. Just for Berzerk and Mr. run and Jump.
  23. Yesterday
  24. No, its not a genuine Atari item in the sense it was sold and distributed in stores, etc... Might be "something" though... Could be a "mock up" made for some inner atari meeting to get some final approvals before fabrication, etc etc but I'm just pulling that story completely out of my ass... The thing is, unless you have/know somebody who was there, for whatever it was used for, it's just a weird plastic poster that has no back story. I think it's cool and if I had to take a wild guess I'd say it probably is official in "some" context. Printing this thing on plastic probably wasn't cheap so I doubt it was just some random missile command fan doing it...especially since it's just the label of the Atari 2600 game, People were not doing that back then...I could totally see some office employee at Atari having it done before a meeting, something to do with the release of Missile Command so everyone can clearly see it, comment, etc... Video games were big money at this time and a LOT of stuff happened behind the scenes before a game was released that we'll never know. Cant you picture this thing sitting on a stand in a meeting room with a dozen or so people looking it over (who don't even want to be there) pretending to care so they keep their jobs? I doubt you would ever find any info on it though. Game programmers love to talk about "the old days" but some run of the mill office employees? They probably didn't even stay in the industry after the crash. They definitely aren't online offering information or answering questions about a mock up their assistant made for a meeting at Atari 40 years ago lol My guess would be it was used once then chucked in the trash. Maybe "Joe Blow" the office cleaner took it home for his kid and said it was a "prototype one of a kind" which would essentially be true, especially if the game had not even been released yet. Since Atari was pretty good about keeping secrets most of these would probably be destroyed, I mean the backs all taped up on this one...maybe "Joe Blow" the cleaner had to fix it up a little before he surprised his kid with it (again, if "this" is even a thing, like I said, pulling this out of thin air) Once me and a collector friend came into possession of a strange E.T. atari 2600 cartridge box. It was all taped together like a "mock up" and had a big heavy wood block inside of it. Looked TOTALLY fake and would have been easy to assume it was just that....but you could tell it was really old and I couldn't understand why someone would spend that much time and effort to make a fake ET box...I mean we all know the story of the extra ET carts right? Anyways, Long story short It ended up being the box they used to film the E.T. 2600 game commercial, the block was to add weight to it when E.T. throws the game to Elliot it "thuds" on the ground, etc... It looked "fake" because the real box didn't exist yet, it WAS the first prototype box! I guess what I'm getting at is this could very well be "something" but without a back story it will probably just be dismissed as "fake" or "fan made" etc... I bet it's the real deal, but not sure what that counts for since who knows what it was actually used for. Unless you could get some kind of authenticated back story or solid proof the value is probably pretty low (if that matters to you) I think its neat though!! Hang it on the wall!!
  25. I will check and see, currently away from where everything is stored.
