  1. Past hour
  2. This is as far as I'm going with Whack 'Em Smack 'Em Byrons, at least until I can figure out how to turn the vague musical concepts bouncing around in my head into actual music. I'm asking someone else for their assistance, but in the meantime... are there any music notation and transcription apps that aren't stupidly expensive and don't suck? I tried something from Klangion and its sound transcription was utterly hopeless. The songs it made out of my doot-dooting didn't resemble what I had imagined, or anything coherent. But anyway! It's a fully functioning game at this point... it just needs more music and sound effects. Also, it's hard! Either lean on the Kids' Mode or play to win with a good controller, because the stock ColecoVision controller just ain't gonna cut it. I'm playing it on my computer's keyboard during testing and even then I can just barely win. whackem_game.rom
  3. Ok, I decided the 40 column display, for CP/M, is nuts. So, I installed an 80 column card....
  4. The game looks cool, can't wait to give it a whirl. I also love the production value of the trailer. You guys did some serious cinematography and editing just for a game trailer. Great job. 👍
  5. He mentioned a two game cart re-release, I think that points to Centipede and Millipede on a single cart. Just a guess. Further back he also said there was another enhanced game in development too. This was around the time that the three 7800 games were announced. Hopefully this has moved along quite well and is it a lot closer now.
  6. My favorite is using a meanwell lrs-50 and 3d printing a case for it. Other than that, most should work, just check the reviews and buy a decent quality one. The ones I send out originally were from a mini pc router my company carried for years, and were also generic Chinese psus.
  7. Also two of my absolute favourites arcade classics. Great fun to play them on the 2600 Plus.
  8. These are all W11, but i did check the drive associations just in case
  9. Hello guys Food arrived. A couple of hours ago, wifi sometimes is slow. Sincerely Mathy
  10. Thanks for checking. Worth a look anyway. Mike (RevEng) was trying to update his Speakalator port for the Mac, but GTK is badly broked: (It also affects an open source graphics app called Inkscape, annoyingly.) I blame Apple. I ended up getting Speakalator to work briefly by referencing a screenshot of Phrase-a-lator, to see what each button actually did. Clearly though, that's not going to work for more involved speech-a-fying.
  11. Could be wishful thinking. The person who was after it most definitely would have shared information with us all but sadly the auction closed before a legit bid could be placed.
  12. This is an example of scrolling the whole screen or part of the screen. This depends on having the data already in ROM. scrolling.bas scrolling.bmp scrolling.rom
  13. Yeah that one thing I noticed with them. So what external 12volt power supply do you recommend? Is there a suitable one like on Amazon?
  14. I'm the one that did the power supplies. The amount I'm charging is what I feel my time is worth to me, and that's also why I post the entire project to github to share it, if someone else's time isn't worth as much to them. (I've got around $22 dollars in cost per board because of multiple revisions.) As for the USB-C input, since this is a VERY stripped down psu, it requires the +12v to be +12v, or it could damage things. The +12 is routed straight to the TI motherboard, and the PSU generates the +5 and -5 rails. All the usbc pd boards that I saw have a value you set or buy them at, but if that voltage doesn't exist on the usb c power supply you are using, they then pass the next lower voltage.
  15. I just did the same search and you are correct! They do not make a difference. I am not sure why I put the settings as A/A when I set up Season 15 back in December. The only thing I could think of is that I had a different paddle bonus game in place before I changed it. So... all scores count. Flip those flippers on any setting! Sorry for the confusion.
  16. I've been playing around with XB 3 tonight ... BASICally how well it could be used with TiCodEd and Classic99. XB3 introduces seven new token which are not available in the TiCodEd-Tokenizer: DATE$, HEX$, LALPHA, LWRC$, OFF, TIME$, UPRC$ XB3 also uses a different memory-layout, so the generated files differ between TiCodEd generated and saved by XB3. The XB compatibility makes it still possible to load TiCodEd generated XB3 files. Awkward looking constructs like CLOSE #ALL, CALL CHAR ALL, VAL(>"FFFC") and CALL MOTION GO/STOP seem to work. As there is no OFF token, CALL SCREEN OFF is not supported, making CALL SCREEN ON pointless, though working. The same applies to CALL QUIT ON/OFF. XB GEM and RXB do not need extra token, so they integrate better. Line-numbers can be used in CALL GOSUB and CALL GOTO, but not with TiCodEd-labels. The syntax-highlighter shows all keywords (token) in black. You can see, that "off" is not recognized. If you renounce from using the tokenizer and paste the created XB program to Classic99, you can use the Structured Extended BASIC also with those unsupported tokens. You may auto-copy the XB code to the clipboard with this integration setting: If you want to play yourself with the combination of XB3 and TiCodEd, place this file in the ./lib directory and select it as Extension Package: XB 3.xbpkg This will declare the additional CALL routines to the code generator (otherwise you will get an "undefined" error) and the editor code-completion (press control-space): Have fun, Steve
  17. Windows of old kill the partitions, I think it was 8.1 or Windows 10 that stopped clobbering the different partitions
  18. Could not download the Rasta Birds on the wires movie though, if you get it let me know what browser worked.
  19. SpiceWare

    Mac Studio

Installation worked, but nothing happens when I run it. I do see this in the Console's log reports, which isn't that helpful. 20. Though I know it's a long shot, I'd try contacting AtGames to see someone there might be able to identify it.
  21. Galaga for the 7800. Honestly, I'd love to see Pitfall re-released, but I know that's an Activision game.
  22. OK awesome. Thanks for the update / clarification. Appreciated!!
