  2. What is this? I never saw this before. Is it Sears Tele games? I don’t remember this.
  3. What in your mind is the correct way to deal with diagonals? Should they count as either direction, or neither direction?
  4. Cool! Can't wait to try it out! Wonder if the Lynx can bluescreen? Lol
  5. That is so trippy looking! Thank you for the share!

  7. Hey OLD CS1, I have the red label cart, but the older manual I think, not sure if it helps at all, but if it does feel free to send me a PM.

  9. Yesterday
  10. Right, I'm not sure how it was altered - I had no PBI/SIO cables connected (during this) - just SUBCART (and I'm not knowledgeable enough to know how it may/not function differently than AVGCART). If you think something about my particular mainboard/hardware (I'm sure mine is a typical late version) might elucidate anything, happy to run a test/provide info/photos. Got it - do you mean what pops up literally after just launching SDX? I'll bring it up tonight and observe and get a photo. Ok, yeah it seems pretty easy to mis-infer that part, but I can see why it was included. What does your DOS work with? (are you still maintaining/using it?). Thanks for the patience, I'm at the tip of this and can only imagine having to hold those technical threads together to create or troubleshoot. But it's motivating to see what people do/have done. Which firmware? (I should know by now)
  11. Rev 7 board almost done. Just got to solder on the 34 PIN connector and testing to start. Fingers crossed. Thanks @Dropcheck for the replacement board. Really appreciate it! '
  12. Obviously did so, but thought to find more honestly. The js99er tip already proved to be working better.
  13. Thank you, that was a great remembrance of the Atari 2600 Omega Race port w/ RAM Plus and Booster Grip! Sorry for any confusion, Mr. Ben, this list is intended to just be for other home consoles (Intellivision, etc.) and home computers (Atari 400/800, C64, etc.) ports to Atari 2600. The list for Atari 2600 arcade ports (since it's so long) has a thread of its own, the most recent update is here. (And you will see that Omega Race is on the list.) Thank you again for your comment.
  14. When I build another firmware, I'll make an option in the config file to turn this off (and make it passive when on - so it doesn't clash with the RS232 card).
  15. UPDDATE Currently, we have listed Atari 2600 home versions for 173 arcade games. And here are some more Atari 2600 games categorized as being "Not Arcade, But Similar." Are there any games that should be added to these lists? Any errors or omissions? Discussion is welcome. Please post your comments, below!
  16. SAMS burn-in passed. Just one question, what is a Digi-Port? My google-fu didn’t give good results.
  17. I would love to see a re-release of Midnight Mutants. It is almost impossible to find. Thanks!
  18. Well, but it is done in hi-res, just the main character - as a hardware sprite - is not.
  19. no..problem..v1.10 works fine with NTSC now
  20. Video of gameplay just listed on Atarionline.pl I've seen this clever engine before, with the inverse flipping between the black and white on screen. Love it. Ah yes, Flob and it's upside down flip engine, (which is a similar mechanic, but different to Shift's inverse engine), is one of the best games on the A8. One thing - given this is 2 tone colour, I wonder why it wasn't done in gr8 hi res, with the main character highly animated? Given there is no colour, it seems idea to do gr8. Edit: ah, actually on closer inspection is it gr8 already, but with just the main character in a lower res? I am viewing on my mobile. Can't wait to boot this up on my 600xl test rig, (currently tbe only A8 I have that isn't in bits being tinkered with, or missing chips Heh Heh! 😁
