luckybuck
Hi together! In Germany we are close to digitize all Atari software from 1979 to 1985. Just this here: Personal Finance Management System CX8113 Personal Finance Management System CX8114 else: Personal Financial Management System CX406, 3 disks CX406 Personal Financial Management System (details incomplete?) * P.M.F.S. System Diskette I CX8113 o Create (???) o Record Keeper o Checkbook Balancer * P.F.M.S. System Diskette II CX8114 o Budget Manager o Budget Analyzer o Budget Forecaster * Formatted Diskette II CX8111 is missing. If anyone has an atr-image of these 2 disks and a pdf-file of the manual, well, there will be an offer you can't resist... A little step for you, but a giant leap for the Atari community and generations to come. Would be cool to hear from you. :-))) All the best, luckybuck
Shawn Jefferson
So, where's your archive? And are you uploading to Atarimania as well?
luckybuck
So, where's your archive? And are you uploading to Atarimania as well? Up to now at home, of course! That is 32GB of raw material, just digitized. Needs a postproduction to look like this here: http://atariwiki.de/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=Atari%20Calculator Uploading of course, if no rights are violated and the NSA gives green lights... luckybuck
Glad to hear you have archived almost every piece of software from that time period. Sorry, did forgot to mention the time period, only the stuff from 1979 to 1985 and from Atari itself. From there on, someone else has to take over... luckybuck
Sorry for being a smartass but... including the Atari Learning Systems titles and all the different Dutch / Spanish / French / German / Italian releases? -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com Hi JC! You are not a smartass, you are vital for Atari! Without atarimania and your work the world would look even more sad. Spanish / French / German / Italian, yes, complete as flac-file, manual as pdf-file. Postprocessing needed to separate data from audio. But Dutch? Do you have a CX-number for this? Maybe a picture? Never found this in the whole web... Nor FAQs... www.atarimania.com
I believe Atari Benelux released the following tapes: Atari Adressenbestand Atari Energie Atari Statistieken Bioritme Blackjack Galgje Koninkrijk Leer in BASIC Programmeren op de Atari Programmeren - Hoe Doe Je Dat? 1 Programmeren - Hoe Doe Je Dat? 2 Programmeren - Hoe Doe Je Dat? 3 Not amazingly rare but not properly archived. luckybuck
I believe Atari Benelux released the following tapes: we have all the tapes digitized in the english version, they only have to be adapted in other languages. No loose of data. Galgje? Koninkrijk? There must be an english-version for this. Do you know the names of them? Quite sure, we have them. The Atari Learning Systems titles are on disk and use the AED catalog reference. IMO, some of the them are MUCH rarer than the Talk & Teach tapes Got me! Mathy
"Galgje" translates to "hangman", "Koninkrijk" translates to "kingdom". But that's the literal translation, Atari might have used different names. Sincerely Mathy Edited September 2, 2013 by Mathy

luckybuck
Thank you for your help SoilentGreen (<- cool nick, not all people know the real meaning... ) These two disks I already have: Family Finances I (Cash Flow) Program/Data Diskette CX8141 Family Finances II (Budget) Program/Data Diskette CX8142 I have had the same in mind as you and thought, that Atari took the CX8113/CX8114 and republished them under: CX8141/CX8142 But then I turned away, I can't imagine, that they used different CX-numbers for the same program. Anyway I am not kidding: as you can see above, these disks do exist. Still searching... Edited September 6, 2013 by luckybuck
55five66six
Thank you! It's nice to know when people recognize great movies! Kudos to you for knowing it! (Always loved dystopian future movies. :-) Good luck on your quest. I figure they do exist due to the boxes you have. I don't think Atari would waste the money just to create boxes.. Then again, they did create that dreadful ET game.
luckybuck
Hi SoilentGreen! Yeah, same is true for me. Blade Runner - tears in rain scene is my favorite! :-) Hope, when I retire to build an "ultimate" version of the movie... Don't misunderstand, I only have the jpg-files of the boxes!!! Would give very much, if I have the boxes for real... :-))) Good weekend to you all.
55five66six
Bladerunner is another one of my favorites. Total Recall is high up on that list as well. Good weekend to you as well! :-)
luckybuck
Maybe Total Recall is closer than you think: Insert: "buzz aldrin mars moon monolith" in Google... take into account that he is speaking of the past! I am an aeronautics and space engineer and know what I am talking about... But 2 things: 1.) the people have to find out by themselves 2.) this is not part of this forum... luckybuck
Hi sup8pdct! I really can't believe it, can you imagine, you search for 34 years for the software and then, there is a 01/23/2015 and the software is there? I really need a drink now. :-) sup8pdct, I am always in your dept! If you have a wish and I can do that, please just let me know. Incredible, you do not make my day, nor my week, nor my month, nor my year, you made my decade!!! Wow! As of this moment, I have all hard- and software I ever wanted from Atari! Wow, what a moment, I can't tell you. Have searched the Oxford lexicon, but I didn't found a word for. One more thing, in mathematics it is possible: Please give me a few days to realize, that this is for real. It must be a dream inside a dream... The rest will go via e-mail. Wow, giga-thanks for the moment, especially in the name of the whole community! We are all deep in your dept!
sup8pdct
Am interested to know where all this software is. Also, i found a PDF of stuff you are still looking for. How current is it? luckybuck
Hi James! Please take all the time in the world you need. For the moment the CX8114 atr(? - send you a pm about it)) would be important. Will combine this with the CXL8001, DOS I, DOS II 2.0s and DOS 2.0d and return. It was said here, that the: is needed for that: chapter? We are totally in the dark, a picture of the back of the box, like this one here from CX401: for the requirements would be extremely useful. :-))))))))) Please take into account, the need for the 815!!!!!!!!! Atari8bitCarts
It appears CX406 is not the same as the 1980 advertised cartridge for Personal Finance CXL8001. I took the dumps from this post, and they don't create the correct data diskette. It was a nice try though. And PFMS is dated 1981, where as Personal Finance is date 1980. The screens are different. I was really hoping they'd be the same. Still searching....
