RaccoonyDave
Is it like regular Q*Bert with its diagonal movement mapped to non-diagonnal input? If I post a selfie of me crying because of unbearable psychological pain and mental scaring can I get a bonus point?

RaccoonyDave
Q*bert's Qubes AA: 18475 The control scheme isn't so bad after all. I'm used to failing on a controller and a joystick is easier to hold diagonaly to line up hand movement with screen movement. But still, what a weird game. Edit: GAMEMODE B DOES WHAT NOW? FUDGE! Thanks you S.Baz for choosing game A for the main event. Edited June 20, 2017 by RaccoonyDave
S.BAZ
98,435 after checking the instructions, and reading what people wrote the last time this game was played in the HSC, I played by far my best game ever of Q*Bert's Qubes. I never knew what was going on with this game before, and I actually like it now clarification: for the achievement bonuses, you can play using Game A to beat the game B scores. I just realized that wasn't very clear. So you don't have to select game B to win any of the bonus points. (you sure can if you like though)

+KaeruYojimbo
33,840 Well, now I know why this port has always seemed so difficult. Game B is the hard game. Thanks Parker Bros. Edited June 20, 2017 by KaeruYojimbo

AtariWarlord
12,135. Does it matter which cube you jump off of in order to get a cube to spin a certain way?

+KaeruYojimbo
12,135. Does it matter which cube you jump off of in order to get a cube to spin a certain way? The cubes spin the direction you jump. So if you jump down, the color on top will move to the front, if you jump left it will move to the left. It makes a lot more sense in the arcade version where you see the cube actually rotate rather than just the flashing colors you get in the 2600 port.
Abel M'Vada
Seriously, what the !#@? is this game? I read the manual and I still don't really get it - I'm just jumping around at random like an idiot and tring to remember which direction is which so I don't fall off the edge or jump right into a bad guy. Q*bert makes me feel really, really stupid. And sweary. Really, really sweary. !#@?Q*bert's Qubes: 6370

Even with KaeruYojimbo's good advice above (thank you, btw) I still feel like I'm doing everything at random. It's really hard to visualize the movement of the blocks. I'm used to using my imagination with the Atari 2600 but this is a little much.
