+Nathan Strum
Bonus points first: Game: Dark Mage Back in the early 80's, during high school, my friend and I would dial into the University of Washington's VAX, and play Zork on it using his TRS-80. We spent hours mapping out the world, trying to work our way through it, but we could never solve it. We kept reaching dead-ends, and weren't able to figure our way through. It was only months later after he bought a commercial copy of the game did we find out the version on the VAX wasn't actually solvable. Dark Mage is the closest you can get to Zork on the 2600. If you liked text adventures, I'd highly recommend checking it out.
+Spriggy
Dark Cavern 212,000 Played on: STELLA - NTSC Rom. Using 8Bitdo N30 pro gamepad. Another HSC title I haven't played. I like it. Once you get a hang of enemy movement, the gun-and-run element of the game is fun. A bit too generous on the xtra lives though... imo. AtariWarlord
OK -- here's a 2600 game that has to do with words; something my profession is based on. Word Zapper was already taken, so I'm choosing Glib, a very obscure word game. Still a shame there's no Paperboy for the 2600 -- maybe I'll take that challenge on myself someday. Abel M'Vada
Dark Cavern: 31000 Bonus: I'm an artist who primarily uses digital tools. I'm also too cheap to invest in a lot of expensive programs, so much of the software that I use is only slightly more advanced than Bob Colbert's Stell-A-Sketch. Before I did all that I shortly worked in an alcohol cognitions research lab during my undergrad. Here's a picture of Taper to represent the drinking. DrMooCowz
Bonus: I'm a fairly defensive driver. Through this fact and just luck in general(I can only control myself and not other motorists), I've never been in a car accident. So, Dodge 'Em seems appropriate! I also hope I didn't just jinx myself by claiming this fact!
