FFS... any more it is just easier to tell people I like "Star Wars" just so I can move on and avoid the onslaught of "omg!?  what don't you like about it?  why?  really??  what about the mandalorian?!  omg!!"

        My responses to a few:

        - My mother is a saint! (Yes, I translated)
        - I have never liked or subscribed to any Youtube channel.  I browse not logged in. I have the ones I like bookmarked.  Previews with a guy doing "O" face is an instant not watch.
        - Tron Arcade is one of my favorite games.  I miss the one I used to own.  I sold it knowing it would eventually not work - someone else's problem.  The movie is also great.  I love Tron Legacy and occasionally still watch it on my still working 3DTV with glasses.
        - I would take a '63 split window Corvette over a Viper.  But not the new ones, I would take a base '92 Viper.
        - Chipotle's steak is way better than Qdoba's.  Never had a complaint about the chips from either side.

    • Did you try to clean also the lynx cart connector pins? This could help for the Insert Game issue.    The screen flashing the correct images now and then let me think it works, but there could be a problem with the signals from the main board. Try to clean the whole circuit board with with Isopropyl alcohol, carefully dry it before reassembling everything and try again. Dirty on the board could cause short circuits or signal leakage.   Also after cleaning the board inspect it searching for corroded parts. Another critical point could be the tracks on the screen flex. If you find corroded points check the rails with a multimeter.
    • It might apply to some or most but not all. I worked alongside James on many projects and he was one of the best not talentless at all. He understood the system and programming better than most and his lack of commenting was in no way because he was lousy or incompetent programmer.
    • I went to a thrift store over the weekend that sells a large collection of complete-in-box (CIB) NES games. The owner sold me a 1993 Namco-issued Pac-Man with manual CIB for $75.00, stating that the artwork on the box was a rarer variant and commanded more money. Does anybody have any additional info about this release? I know there was an earlier Pac-Man released on the NES by Tengen that is much more common, and the Namco version that I bought is rarer because it came out at the end of the NES’ lifecycle. Anyway, it’s a nice box, and I love the artwork. I might buy a few more NES games CIB in the future when my budget allows.
    • Hi   Two new games added to my collection:     I hope to be able to share soon the rest of my collection, hardware, magazines, posters, etc. ...
    • I’ve had the same issue with JCD’s failing. I can only assume the memory card can get corrupted, as I had Dragons Lair start failing on me, so I formatted the memory card and copied the JCD’s across again and it worked fine.
    • It’s the only way I could think to add some kind of cloning protection. Unfortunately it’s needed these days with small quantity niche products like this. If it were cloned and sold by someone else I wouldn’t be able to continue making these products.   And a false link will never be created, you’ve just typed it in wrong. That’s the point of the QR, you can scan it without error and mail it to yourself, etc. Putting an update.html on the memory card which takes you to the page may be another solution.
    • Thanks. I don't think they are related; there are 9 tunes (Ranger 1-9) on ASAP.
    • Press the very large blue DOWNLOAD FIRMWARE button rather than go for the individual links below. That way you get the upd file which won’t keep updating each time you reboot. Those links below are for if you want overwrite your current firmware with that particular version.
    • With latest commits, I've improved the code. Tests with real hardware indicate the TSFXes work. God bless AltirraOS and its author.   Still, it is unfortunate the tape support wasn't done better for the 8-bit computers. Two items I miss the most - file names and wider range of baud rates, up to 2400 bps. SIO would have been flexible enough to support improved recorders.
    • Dan Kramer, the "Trak-Ball" guy who designed the 5200 Trak-Ball, told me the Trak-Ball could be used as a digital input! He did not tell me how. I have a couple ideas as to how to make it work.   Take test points 5-6-7 & 8 which are each of the four directional inputs. Put 2 1K resistors and tie them end to end, where they meet connect to a test point. On 1 end of the resistors connect to 5V and the other end of the other resistor to ground. This will create a reference voltage at each test point. Now I want put a momentary switch going to each test point, like one in a joystick, and the other side of the switch to ground.
