Hello there mate, I am just here to find Infos about my dead father Sorin Pascu Markstetter. I am his child..., I dont know if he ever mentioned the name "Xenia" somewhere here to Members, I was born in November 2004, so if anyone knew him, can you reach out to me? Btw if he mentioned ever the Name Xenia, I changed my name to Kali due personal reasons, so Kali Markstetter My Mother is Jana Markstetter, she was married to my father. He died on the 11.05.2006, because of a car, so please if anyone knew him..., I want to learn more about my dad, nobody is telling me much, only very little things. My half Sister Veronica Pascu is also here..., it pains us to know just nothing about our dad.

Did anyone have an error message saying the server was down or something?  It happened to me this morning.  I closed the tab, waited a few minutes and opened a new tab.  Then everything was fine.  I'm using Chrome on a Windows desktop by the way.

    • How many people bought a pair of similar 'bermuda' style shorts back in the day...
    • I had a similar issue with a white label cart of Enduro, the opposite thou. Won't fit in the original VCS, thou works on the 2600+. I guess original carts maybe shape and get used to whichever console it gets inserted to more frequently.
    • You have decimal numbers instead of hexadecimal in many places, e.g. 8192, 16384.
    • Is there a port of retroarch for the RG350?  By default, it has separate emulators for the systems it emulates.
    • Did you miss my post with dos2dir and dos2copy? I already wrote the utilities to import files stored on Atari disks.   Re using stdio.h, in write.com I used printf for convenience because size didn't really matter for a test utility. dos2dir and dos2copy use CP/M directly which saves an enormous amount of RAM, disk space and load time. A single printf in dos2dir increases the file size from 3494 bytes to 9704 bytes. That's 277% bigger, and not even pulling in fopen/fclose/fread/fwrite/etc... Another reason I called CP/M directly in write.com is that you know exactly what it does. You wouldn't have known which BIOS call went wrong if I used libc functions that do whatever behind your back.   A note on dos2copy, BDOS doesn't really like it when you bypass it and change the drive underneath it with BIOS calls. But we need that, because we need to read the Atari directory and file sectors. Hence it uses BIOS seldsk to restore it back to what BDOS expects for its file access. BDOS's seldsk won't work, because it is not aware of a drive change.   You can port it to the z88dk environment if you want to, but I don't really see the point. ACK is a compiler that has been tested for over 40 years, and used to be the main Minix compiler.     Edit:   sysgen: https://forums.atariage.com/topic/362513-cpmz-80-card-for-the-1090xl-calling-anyone-with-z-80-experience/?do=findComment&comment=5457101 dos2tools: https://forums.atariage.com/topic/362513-cpmz-80-card-for-the-1090xl-calling-anyone-with-z-80-experience/?do=findComment&comment=5458386   I recommend renaming atsysgen.com to plain sysgen.com as it has always been a device specific utility back in the past and its name was sysgen.   All three programs were specifically written for your CP/M 1090 port.
    • Happy to see Stephen and GravityWorm keeping the thread moving along I have been tied up with Pc repair work thats still under warranty.  I should be done soon and I'll have some stuff to post.
    • It's important to approach troubleshooting in a deliberate manner, just randomly trying letters won't teach very much. Still, it sounds like you know where to look.   Can you make these titles work outside of App mode? Perhaps there's an incompatibility?     When you are using the INI file, the filename is not parsed, so you don't have to rename the file to change the type. The letter at the beginning of the line is considered authoritative. I was going to pull down Killer Caterpillar to see, but I don't see it at your link there... can you post the ROMs that don't work?   It's definitely not a use of app mode that I expected, but neat
    • It’s now been more than doubled by mikes gaming gala. I will be going for that score later today. 😎
    • Yes, there's a score. I got a high score of about 3.14159265358979323846. Please don't ask why I didn't need to look that up.
