Lasagna. Garfield mentioning of his favorite food was introduced on 7/15/1978. Almost a month after Garfield's debut.

Originally, Jim Davis said that he was going to make Pizza as Garfield's favorite treat. The reason being was that it was easier to draw for him at the time.

Job applications are designed by the same people who came up with the concept of making you answer prompts instead of asking a representative- then think "wow this is a great idea, there's no way their question is gonna fall outside of these 3 selections"

They should have stuck with rock and skipped the roll.

    • i decided to delete everything, including cygwin and downloaded the latest version from whtech, and reinstalled cyqwin64 and then setup the path variable manually in my computer, and ran the mameprep_cygwin script, after installing the latest wget and unzip packages, and at least it finally ran without errors and made a folder on my desktop with some batch files, and i can launch both ti99evh and geneve from those without any weird video and mouse problems now.   here is a new video i made, all tho atariage is back again wiping out my uploaded videos after a couple of hours, for some weird reason.   now i just have to figure out how to config the two systems the way i want with the modules and software i want to use, and how in the hell to i disable that horrible disk drive sound, it is hurting my ears! media-20240505-145745-3703_fixed.mp4

    • TI BASIC + Minimem + 32K   I thought it would be interesting to see TI BASIC compared to the other BASICs.  I realize there is another (stock) TI BASIC benchmark earlier in this thread, but that one doesn't find all of the primes.   Instead of using an array for working storage, this code uses the Minimem to Peek / Poke into expansion RAM.   1 OPEN #1:"CLOCK" 2 INPUT #1:A$,B$,C$ 3 PRINT C$ 6 ITER=1 8 HIMEM=-24576 9 SZ=8192 20 PRINT ITER;"ITERATIONS" 30 FOR M=1 TO ITER 40 COUNT=0 50 FOR I=0 TO SZ 60 CALL LOAD(HIMEM+I,1) 70 NEXT I 80 FOR I=0 TO SZ 90 CALL PEEK(HIMEM+I,FLAG) 95 IF FLAG=0 THEN 170 100 PRIME=I+I+3 105 REM PRINT PRIME 110 K=I+PRIME 120 IF K>SZ THEN 160 130 CALL LOAD(HIMEM+K,0) 140 K=K+PRIME 150 GOTO 120 160 COUNT=COUNT+1 170 NEXT I 180 NEXT M 190 PRINT COUNT;"PRIMES" 200 INPUT #1:A$,B$,C$ 210 PRINT C$     Result for 1 iteration is 25 minutes and 2 seconds.

    • I know the disc is a little funky, but with pirto cartrige it hesitates sometimes, but as you move the disc it makes the letters disappear. Also something wierd you press the number 1 on keypad it cycles through the game list, you cycle through the game list usually down on the disc. And when your in the game you hit reset and it goes to the begining of the game your playing not the games menu? Seems to me a firmware issue maybe. Let me say i know i bought the cartridge as experimental but would really like to get this cart working. Its a beautitful design nice fit green light but it is what it is.. Just hopeing you guys can give me a hand...Thank you 👍
    • Hi @karri sorry for the delay there was a bug in the timing and the code was dropping frames. Specifically if a one-register change to volume or instrument needed to be held for an extra frame  the C code wasn't encoding it correctly and the ASM was not decoding it correctly (I've gone back and forth on having this complicated encoding logic, but it does save quite a bit of space)  I'll have the new code up shortly but meanwhile check these out (...the timing is much closer... but now I suspect we're adding a frame somewhere).
