FFS... any more it is just easier to tell people I like "Star Wars" just so I can move on and avoid the onslaught of "omg!?  what don't you like about it?  why?  really??  what about the mandalorian?!  omg!!"
      1. cvga

You don't like it? OMG, what don't you like about it?
      2. GoldLeader

But you at least like The Mandalorian right?   I mean it's like a Western,  but it's Star Wars!
      3. GoldLeader

Serious question:  What do you like?     (No judgement)
      4. OLD CS1

@GoldLeader Less and less.  But, the original trilogy, when Star Wars was new wave, not neo-scifi.  My buddy and I were thrilled about Episode I, but he had to just about tackle me back into my seat when the whole "mediclorian" thing came up.

        My responses to a few:

        - My mother is a saint! (Yes, I translated)
        - I have never liked or subscribed to any Youtube channel.  I browse not logged in. I have the ones I like bookmarked.  Previews with a guy doing "O" face is an instant not watch.
        - Tron Arcade is one of my favorite games.  I miss the one I used to own.  I sold it knowing it would eventually not work - someone else's problem.  The movie is also great.  I love Tron Legacy and occasionally still watch it on my still working 3DTV with glasses.
        - I would take a '63 split window Corvette over a Viper.  But not the new ones, I would take a base '92 Viper.
        - Chipotle's steak is way better than Qdoba's.  Never had a complaint about the chips from either side.

    • Sorry for the question SainT. In playing a CD game the game worked fine and was auto saving every now and then. After playing for a while it went to autosave and the screen stayed black and the red light is on on the front of the GD. In every attempt to play the game again it refuses to load to be able to play, just makes it through all the starting portions and then screen goes black when "checking memory track" and the red light stays on the GD.    Does that mean the save has corrupted itself or should I delete the game all together and then reinstall it on the GD? The game is Yopaz Ice Star by Orion
    • Last night I was playing some Link's Crossbow Training on Wii.  That name sounds awfully lame, but it belies a very fun and addictive game.  It's a "light gun" style game that uses the goofy-looking-but-functional Wii Zapper peripheral.  The player takes on sets of timed shooting challenges, where each challenge is one of the following types:   1) shooting at stationary or moving bullseye targets out in front of you from a fixed position 2) shooting at enemies approaching from 360 degrees around you, but from a fixed position (a "radar" helps you see what is approaching from all sides) 3) shooting at enemies as you walk around using the nunchuk analog stick, in a sort of classic third-person shooter style (also assisted by a radar)   Each stage has you go through one of each of the above challenge types.  At the end your score from all 3 is tallied up and compared to different score thresholds for bronze, silver, and gold.  In order to unlock the next stage you need to get at least a bronze.     I started playing the game with the intent to just play for a few minutes to see what it was about, because it was late and I wanted to get to bed.  But I ended up staying up waaaay too late.  It's one of those games.  It does seem pretty short, so the longer term replayability may be questionable, but the content that is there is some pretty excellent arcade-style fun.  Really looking forward to going head-to-head with friends and family on this one.
    • Ahhh! I remember seeing this for the NES.
    • If the pcb with easily sourced parts becomes available I am interested as well. Of course the hard to get parts I get from a real 7800.
    • Damn, sorry to hear that. Same boat, house reno past year but we're still not back in yet. I put my 3 Vectrex consoles in storage along with the rest of my collection.
    • They're different. Skate or Die is an NES game (I guess originally C64) that was trying to capitalize on the arcade games popularity. It's got the catch phrase from 720 degrees but it's totally different otherwise.    Would love to see a re-imagined version of this type of game for 2600+/7800 tho
    • This is the most exciting homebrew to look forward to.   Thanks for all the hard work!
    • Are they the same game or different? I’ve heard of both but never played those.
    • Hi. I created a Donkey.BAS game back in 2021 for Intellivision using IntyBasic. So here is a video of my Colecovision version coded in CVBasic 0.50.0 The game was original released with basic for the IBM pc back in 1981   I used the Intybasic source, as referance. I used 2 days to code it, but not working all the time, but i guess maybe i have used 5-8 hours totally. The graphics and IBM Charset is ripped from the original game, and i used QB64 to convert it into the data format CVBasic will accept.   Enjoy the Video
