Flojomojo
I grew up in a small Pennsylvania town called Selinsgrove. Our arcade was called Spaceport and was in the Susquehanna Valley Mall. It was L-shaped, dimly lit and was designed like a space station. We used to call the old guy that worked there "Space Pap". I frequented the arcade between '83-'87. That was my favorite place to go when I was a kid. I lived in Lewisburg so I always needed a ride to get there. Seems like there might be a community theater in that space now? http://www.pahomepage.com/story/d/story/rent-at-courtyard-theater-at-the-susquehanna-valle/21611/uOhWlbdtB0ilePR4Bh9rZA
Twin_power
I just recently visited an arcade in Broken Arrow, OK. It's called PJ Gamers. It has 3 separate areas. One area is an arcade. They have 30 or so arcade games. I got to play Galaga, Pacman. Aero-Fighters, and the Star Wars Trilogy. For $5 they set you up for free play all day on all the arcade games. Donkey Kong. Mario Brothers, and Tempest were down for maintenance.
Twin_power
My best childhood arcade experience was at a Leman's arcade. We had a package deal each getting to play through $10 worth of tokens during a church youth group outing. We had the whole arcade to ourselves.... They even had a music video jukebox... That dates me...
Twin_power
Bump.... Does anybody remember the 3D arcade game that used a huge concave mirror? That was one of me favorites. The name was Time Traveler.
