ManShowBoy Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 One good thing about PS3's price, is that it keeps the annoying little 12yo's away much longer until they save enough money from weekly allowances-cleaning thier room or rubbing thier mom's bunyans. Given, there are still quite a few youngens that own one, thanks to rich familes, it's just nice to play online with more mature people. Few people will be able to afford it, but the ones that can will be fiercely loyal to it... and will likely look down on those who can't. I never really thought about that really, not many people WILL afford the system, i mean it's been aparrent by looking at any stores in your city/town, but i always just imagined it being a phase, and that it will kick in when there's more games for the console. When i get it, i will be one of the (by then) 500,000 people who have it, and it will be the greatest thing ever. It's a whole different ballgame with Neo-Geo being in the SNES/Genesis era vs. PS3 today. PS3 isn't head and shoulders ahead above Xbox 360 in term for raw power like Neo-Geo was over the 16 bitters. Now such a problem if it hadn't ended up costing me a thousand bucks to fix it. So, I will also be waiting for the summer to get a ps3.
