Which of the current consoles do you own?

Sorry I missed last week. These things happen.

 

Anyway, looking beyond the classics, which of the "current gen" consoles do you currently own?

None yet. A Wii is on the want list, but I can do without the other two.

Sounds like I'm in the same boat as the others above. Don't have any of the current system but really want the Wii. I do want the XBOX 360 so I can download Guitar Hero songs. PS3 currently doesn't have any games that really make me want/have to buy one.

Currently I have none of these systems. I do want to get a Wii but right it's not in the budget which doesn't really matter much because I still haven't seen one.

 

I'm thinking of getting a 360 because of XNA. I think I'll get one soon though. I might wait a few years, like I've done in the pass, for the price to come down a bit. Right now I'm buying 360 games when I see them priced cheap.

Just a Wii so far. Of the other two, I'm mildly interested in the 360 and have little interest in the PS3. Unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time yet to play the Wii, but the time I have spent with it has been quite enjoyable.

Handhelds can be considered consoles by some, but they are clearly in a separate category.

I have an XBOX 360, and I like it ... the Arcade is definitely a highlight for me.

 

I don't really have any interest in the PS3, as it's $600 and has no software that has grabbed me yet.

 

I'm on the fence about the Wii. I already have a Cube, and I don't feel like unhooking it yet because the GameBoy Player is too useful. I'd like to try some of the kinetic games, but there's nowhere to buy one, even as I write this in mid-April. Meh. Feh.

None! but do plan to get an XBOX 360 later this year, possibly waiting till the end of the year if/when rumors of a price drop. Maybe getting a Wii but no plans for PS3 yet.

None yet - though the forthcoming Ratchet & Clank game for the PS3 looks very interesting. I've completed the first 3 R&C games on the pS2 as well as the Spyro series by Insomniac on the PSone, and all 6 games were excellent. Another company took over the Spyro franchise for the PS2 versions, and they suck hard.

For me, the Dreamcast is my last (most current) console. If I had to choose a current gen console to get - I would opt for a Wii given the game selection and prices currently.

None here either A Wii is in my thoughts for the future The 360 Um Maybe but only cuz of Guitar Hero and the downloadable songs (PS2 has Net capability and HD Why no DL songs with out hacking)

 

but Im happy with the GCN with my gameboy player and PS2.

Im always a gen behind so maybe ill pickup an original Xbox

I have (and really love) the Wii. If I can ever go back to using a regular joypad again (feels so archaic now) I might get a 360 simply for the original content on XBLA - Rare/Ultimate's remake of Jetpac is very tempting.

Just a Wii at the moment, and I'm very happy with it. I want more games for it than I can afford already. Nothing on 360 or ps3 has really tempted me enough to dish out the money, although I'll probably end up getting one or the other by the end of the year.

Out of those three, I only have an XBOX 360, and I love it.

The PS3 is too price prohibitive (at least it is here in the UK) and I'm really not sure abot the Wii.

 

The Arcade content for the 360 is fantastic, although, from what I hear, the VC on the Wii may have a slight edge for retro gamers.

 

I also have a DS (I do count that as a console), and I love the imaginative ways in which Nintendo and other developers are using the touch screen.

I don't think this is fair. You should have labelled this "The Newest Consoles" rather than "The Current Consoles". I feel a console is still "current" as long as new games are coming for it. I don't know about the original XBox but I know there are still games coming out for the PS2 and there are even a few GameCube games coming out (Radio Allergy, for instance, is due out at the end of this month unless it gets delayed again). Of the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360, I have nada.

I own a Wii, I would keep a 360 if it was given to me for free but I will never own a PS3, Hell if I was given a PS3 I'd sell it. Wii rocks, I don't care what anyone says otherwise (just like a good fanboy should )

I have my heart set on the PS3.

However it has to prove itself, and at this point it wont...

Until they finish finalizing/updating the console.

 

This November there should be a slew of games coming out including the rumored, but hopefully true, release of TIME CRISIS 4 with a Guncon 3.

 

I have high hopes for the PS3, but the PS2 ain't dead yet.

So, I can wait.
