GroovyBee
Yup, all the 3D Stooges stuff has been canceled. Why? I did head over to the JSII forum but you can't read anything interesting over there unless you register.

Thanks for clearing that up. Thats not a good incentive to continue if you're a homebrew developer.

Bill Loguidice
I don't condone the piracy in any way, but Gorf was wound so tightly anyway that if it wasn't that, it was bound to be something else. The piracy may have also been a result of his confrontational nature, particularly when it came to products that may have enabled piracy, but weren't designed with that in mind. I have a hard time believing that the piracy would have affected sales in any way - perhaps maybe 5 - 10 fewer copies - but who knows? It's still wrong and should have never happened, but the homebrew scene is a fairly predictable place all things considered and one should know what the possibilities are going in once something is unleashed to the world, particularly someone experienced like that.

Chickybaby
*Sigh* I think that's enough about Gorf *please*. IMO, His decisions for whatever reasons were his own and don't need to be dissected especially when he obviously isn't around to speak his side. Thank you! ... Now where did I put that Excedrin Migraine again?

Now where did I put that Excedrin Migraine again? Im to see him go! I know we cant agree on everthing...but we can agree that we lost someone from our community that was really into his work and gave us some great info & games. Wish you the best GORF
Chickybaby
Ok, thank you. I am saying as a Mod that It's enough though. I asked nicely because I don't feel like dealing with any more arguments or "debates" in regards to details surrounding this. His reasons were his own and he kept them private. We should respect that and leave it be as he requested.

Chickybaby
That's really enough unless you want to be formally warned or go on moderator preview and that goes for anybody. I understand your position, appreciate it, and even said thank you. I can not be biased in any direction especially in this case and as a Moderator I believe my job is to not take any particular side and can not play favorites. I am again also abiding by his wishes as well in wanting this to be his private matter. Once one person has their say another will point to it as a reference and use it as an example of why their point of view should be spoken as well. I was not being rude in any way shape or form. If you have a problem with a moderator send a PM next time but do not call them out in a public forum. It's really not appreciated and won't get anyone anywhere positive. +Stephen Moss
For anyone who was wondering work on my PlayStation Controller to Jaguar interface is on going. Since my Skunkboard arrived and with some very shaky assembler coding I have been able to confirm that what worked in testing now works on a real Jag. I have full motor and Analogue/Digital mode control and can display via the Skunk Console the button presses and Analogue values. There is still some work to do, like changing to a faster PIC to reduce conversion time/shorten the row code timings and optimise transmission timing between the adaptor and PS controller, now that I am able to test on an actual Jag things are starting to progress again. No idea of a possible production date so do not ask but it certainly will not be 2009 or early 2010

The sooner we can plug in real controllers and get rid of the horrible jagpad the better!

Christos
Yep, try the Pro Controler, it's quite good The jagpad isn't bad per se.. but the dual shock beats the crap out of it. I even got a usb adapter for my pc to use them. And that includes the pro controller too.

I would sign up right now for 2 of them. Cannot wait to see a video of the in action.
