Nateo
Was this game ever ported to a console? I played it on MAME a little while back, and I love it.
Tempest
Not in this country. It came out for the MSX computer format, and possibly a few computers in the US (C-64 I think). No consoles though. Tempest

Tempest Actually, it is available on one of those classic game collections for the Gameboy Advance. Of course, we're talking 20+ years after it's original release though. opcode
Hi, The MSX computers got 2 versions of this game released by Konami itself. And the first MSX Yie Ar game was later released for Famicom too (it was the first game Konami released for Famicom in Japan, back in 85). But I wouldn't be surprised if some other classic console ends getting a port too....... Eduardo Mello
Jeffy Arensmeyer
Sure it was! It's available for the PSX on Konami . Titles for Arcade Classics include... Yie Ar Kung Fu[*]Time Pilot [*]Scramble [*]Super Cobra [*]Pooyan [*]Circus Charlie [*]Shao Lin's Road [*]Road Fighter [*]Gyruss [*]Roc'n'Rope by Konami.Titles for Arcade Advance include... There's also countless Famicom Multi-Carts that have Yie Ar Kung Fu on them. Hope this helps. ò¿ó
Tempest
Yeah I thought the Famicom got it, but I wasn't 100% sure. I wasn't counting remakes BTW, that's why I didnt mention the greatest hits package. Tempest
Jeffy Arensmeyer
And if you liked that, then you're gonna love this! Check the very last choice on the page. ò¿ó
Jeffy Arensmeyer
I wasn't counting remakes BTW...Wouldn't anything other than an arcade MAME be a remake? ò¿ó
Fretwobbler
UK saw it released on all the main 8 bit computers we had which were C64, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC. Ive got the C64 and Spectrum versions on budget cassete. Great game (but not as good as The Way of the Exploding Fist) Adam
Nateo
How faithful were the ports to the original arcade version? (Besides the obvious PlayStation port)
