Just thought you guys might want to download this:

Atari Lynx Hint Book

Digital Press' Library FINALLY uploaded something. Look at what it is!

This was an internal Atari Lynx hint book that was never distributed. It was rescued from the trash by John Skruch himself, who also wrote a forward to the book. Worth the download if you're even remotely interested in the Lynx, as it has technical information for the system as well, as troubleshooters, specifications, and even hints on proper care!

The Fractal easter egg is pretty cool but it does take quite along time to load them sometimes (as can be expected).

This guide is great. I downloaded and printed it as a "handy" manual. It came out very nice!

Hi All,

Please find attached an updated Hint Book in A5 size with contents pages

I gathered together the hints from the Atari Lynx Hint Book and from other sources on the net.

I understand it is not complete but it is a work in progress. If you have any additions please send them to me and I will update the book.

Also if you would like the Word version please PM me and I will forward it on to you.

Cheers

Russell

A work of art, thanks for doing this!

One addition to Gates of Zendocon, on the TRYX level there is a way to see the designers' faces.  Stolen from various places online:

"There is a secret bonus level that contains pictures of the Lynx designers

and programmers and all the bonus weapons. At the beginning of level TRYX
turn on your shields and fly through the bottom of the floor. On the
deviding portion where the tanks are on are sections that flicker red.
Between the first square one and the next oval one is the spot. Then
fly about one ship's height above the bottom through the posts and
under the stalagtites. Enter the portal and there you go!"

The cheat codes for Batman and Rampart are insane.  Not sure what the programmers were thinking.  Who in their right mind would want to press the buttons that many times?
