SalemFrost7800
Sorry if this was posted before!!! I wonder if you would be able to hack the JAKKS Atari 10 in 1 game and remove games you don't want and add your own roms (games) http://www.jakkstvgames.com/atari.html
SalemFrost7800
Found the answer in a dead thread: 1. So, how long until someone figures out how to replace those roms with their own games Not likely... the chips are epoxy glue-blob's on the PCB (ala later Atari 2600 games....) so no one will be chipping away at those to SMD solder replacement chips onto the boards Curt
+FujiSkunk
You'd have to replace them with NES games or other Jakks knock-offs anyway. That's a NES clone under the hood, not an Atari 2600. Edit: I am rather amused that the Jakks web page is done in Flash, which means all that text is really a picture, and they still screwed up the character set. Note how all the reviewers seem to be questioning themselves. Edited January 30, 2009 by skunkworx
Fort Apocalypse
Can a Jakks 2600 stick be hacked to play NES games? Maybe the board inside could be replaced and just use it as a shell?
