What PS3 games are you currently playing?

Phew, it's been close to two years since I last touched the PS3, but it's finally been time to start playing Devil May Cry 2 from the HD Collection :)

I'm making great progress on this one, I'm already down to the final half a dozen trophies. Basically I still need to do a Dante Must Die run with Trish and the Blood Palace related trophies. And I still require some Dante grinding :)

Haven't used my ps3 for playing actual games for a while myself. Once I finish up SAO: Re: Hollow Fragment I'm thinking I'll attempt another game on the PS3. That might not be til August at the rate I'm going through SAO though.

I just received a used PS3 as a gift from a good friend last week! I have always wanted to play "Dragon's Crown", ever since it came out 4 years ago!
So I traded a bunch of PS4 games I didn't play at all and used the credit to get "Dragon's Crown", "Nier", and "Demon's Souls".
I am currently rotating between those three.

My friend is also sending me his collection of games, which consist of the following:
Borderlands (played on 360 and finished including all DLC)

Borderlands 2 (played on 360 and finished including all DLC)
Borderlands Pre Sequel (played on 360 and finished including all DLC)
Army of Two
Army of Two 40 Day
Bioshock Infinite (played on 360 and finished including all DLC)

Infamous 2

Dead Space 2 Limited Edition
Dead Space 3 Limited Edition

Battlefield 4
Motor Storm
Motor Storm Pacific Rift
SBK X Superbike World Championship
COD Modern Warfare 2

I enjoyed Dragon's Crown at first, but after a while I found it tedious and just wanted it to end. It got a little too 'arcadey' and repetitive towards the end.

Currently playing Uncharted 3 and it's blowing my mind. I don't play a ton of "modern" games that aren't Nintendo so these AAA titles always amaze me. Amazing game and series for sure, will have to re-play all three one day and complete them, get all the treasures, play on harder difficulty, etc.

Minecraft is getting unearthed possibly tonight for my third youngest's "birthday game". I updated it last night and goofed around one of my worlds for a few minutes before going to bed.

Recently my daughter and I have been playing the 360 version at her mom's house (I spend time with my daughter each weekday morning after my ex goes to work as she works early. Then I take my daughter to school before I go to work). Comparitively, the PS3 version seems to look sharper than the 360 version and the ex has a better TV.

Controllers are on the charging stand for tonight.

Just tried out the new "Egyptian Mythologies" texture pack last night on Minecraft. That was pretty dang cool! This new coat of paint sucked me in when I actually got a chance to play unmolested by my youngest wanting my attention! I kept storming a mansion to try and beat a Vindicator that was living by a bunch of chests. Needless to say I was woahfully under armed for those encounters.

I think I might actually buy that pack.

After almost 3 years after buying my first PS3 just to play Ni No Kuni, I was finally able to log some hours on it. Helps that my son is now old enough to play with me. We loved DQ8, so this was a no-brainer. We're about 12 hours in. Doesn't hurt that he's a fan of Studio Ghibli and Pokemon too.

Fantastic game. So deep and whimsical at the same time.

That’s awesome! I hope to do the same soon with my son. He’s now 10 years old, and is also a big Studio Ghibli fan like his Dad. I’ve actually played most of the way through this game by myself a few years ago. I liked it so much that I purchased a copy for all of my friends who own a PS3.
