Ok, I'm basically down to these 2 guys for my Sears collection with the exception of needing Demons to Diamonds. I know of obtaining these I'm going to
have to go the ebay route. My question is when was the last time these 2 showed up? I think Checkers was on there a couple months back? If anybody does
remember them on there, do you recall the price frame they were in? I'm thinking big bucks!!!!! :(

I assume you're looking for CIB? The carts are findable (I have a spare Checkers for sale/trade right now, actually), but good luck with the boxes, especially Checkers. The ones The 5th Ghost had are the only ones I've ever seen, I think.

Is a boxed Cannon Man easier to find than a boxed Checkers?

It might be very slightly easier -- I only say that because I'm pretty sure at least two people here have the Cannon Man box.

Based on what people say they need, the rarest Sears boxes look to be:

Cannon Man
Math Gran Prix
Checkers
Superman

Cannon Man is still #1 AFAIK, but I'm thinking that Checkers may be a very close second.

I've been collecting boxes since 1998 and have never seen cannon man for sale CIB anywhere for any price, save when the 5th ghost sold his collection.

I do have checkers CIB (not for sale) tho :)

The only one I need is a Sears CIB Superman (Pictured Label variation). There might be another variation or two that I need but in terms of having all of the major Sears titles, that I do have all of them CIB.... :)

Nice Collection! But, answering your question, I have never seen Checkers CIB on ebay. But I saw Cannon Man CIB a couple weeks back for 25 dollers on buy it now. But, I havent seen any recently.

Hey, you're right, I thought that shelf looked familiar.
So... I've still only seen one of each.

Do you have a link for that auction? Since 12/17/2007, I've only seen Cannon Man listed in 7 times, most of those were loose (and sometimes part of a collection), one did have the manual.

Can someone get me a scan of the Cannon Man artwork (either from the box or manual)? It's the last different Sears artwork I need for my web page. The damn manual and box are so rare I've never been able to get my hands on one.

Cannon Man has eluded me my whole collecting career. It's the only Sears game I'm missing. I'll take a loose one if anyone has it.

Like we did with some other rarer games maybe we should make a registry of owners of Boxed Cannon Mans & Checkers. I just like to see many out there have these games! Your thoughts?
