BraddW
Hi again, I have another question for anyone who has used sio2pc. I just got a cable, and I want to use it to copy disks from my 1010 drive to an ATR disk image. I am wodering what would be the best way to configure everything. I have the 1010 drive set up as drive one. Do I just creat a disk image on SIO2PC and call it drive #2? Then just duplicate the entire disk using dos on the actual atari machine. So D1 would be the source and D2 would be the destination? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm really rusting with Atari since I haven't used one for 15 or so years. Thanks in advance. DEBRO
I am assuming that you mean you have an Atari 1050 disk drive and not the 1010 recorder. If you do have the 1050 drive then read How do I convert a REAL diskette into a disk image? from the FAQ. I just copied ALL of my old 8-bit disks to ATR files I even have some public domain/magazine type in games I haven't seen on the net. I'll try to post these somewhere
Thelen
If you're using sio2pc 4.19 dos, then use option C (create atari disk image), choose density, size. when you have copied youre disk to it you choose option W to save it Thelen
