+pboland
Tunnels & Trolls That looks really good. It almost goes with the U.S. Tunnels & Trolls label I did back in the Colecovision Labels Thread. BTW, Do you know if the CBS labels are the same size as the U.S. ColecoVision labels? If you don't know can you tell me the size (length and width) of the full label (millimeters is fine by me ). I would like to make a few repro CBS labels as well. They would look good with your boxes.

+pboland
I hope these quick measurements will be useful for you. Thanks you very much for the measurements of the labels. Now I must go and make a few CBS Coleco labels.
+pboland
I hope these quick measurements will be useful for you. I'm going to apologize in advance as I don't know French. I'm hoping I got the text correct. Please let me know how far off I am. Also, I made the label 1 mm longer and wider than the measurements you gave me. I did this so it is easier to cut out after it is printed. Thanks
ten-four
Hi Crapahute and pboland Fantastic work you two are doing. The sticker as pboland made is for use by the French market. I have scanned the sticker I have on my Mr. Do!
Crapahute
Great ! In fact I gave you 2 examples, Mr Do's label is an only one language label and Bump is a multi languages label. Another example of an only one language label is DK Jr (Dk Jr) which I own in French and in English as you can see on the site. The labels of the games I called "CBS1" are in one language only (French, English, German, etc.). The labels of the games I called "CBS2" are multilingual. +pboland
Thanks ten-four for the scan. Thanks Crapahute. If you don't mind me asking, how many label variations are there for each game? In general of course. For instance, was Mr. Do! produced with three, four, or five different language label types? I only ask because Crapahute stated "(French, English, German, etc.)" It was the etc. that caught my eye. I'm trying to figure out just how many labels I might need to create. It is much easier for me to make English labels as I'm not multilingual. The other thing is, I don't know how to create text for other languages. I typed Mr. Do with the closest English characters I had and went back and added the markings that made it French. I have a feeling there is an easier way to do that, I just don't know how. Crapahute
...If you don't mind me asking, how many label variations are there for each game? ... I wish to know it myself too It is realy hard to identify all the variations. I am pretty sure that there were "CBS1" in English, French and German at least for these games : Venture, Gorf, Cosmic Avenger, Zaxxon, Smurf, Mr Do, Time Pilot, Pepper II, Lady Bug, Space Fury, Space Panic, DK Jr, Carnival and Looping. A lot of the other titles were "CBS2" (multilingual) and/or "CBS3" (grey box) which is multilingual too. For example, I have a "CBS3" box for Mr. Do (English, French, German, Spanish and Italian) but the cartridge label is similar to the one showed by ten-four (CBS1 ?) - only English - but I am not sure it is the one which came with the box as it was already opened when I bought it. Crapahute
And here are other differencies with the Smurf cartridge labels. This is the one which came with the CBS1 UK version and this is the one which came with the CBS3 version. As you can see, the labels are slightly different. Even the serial numbers change. 4L1940 : CBS1 France 4L1938 : CBS1 UK 4L1937 : CBS3 Does it mean that CBS3 came earlier ? Were CBS3 boxes targeted to a special area ? I am pretty sure that CBS1 was prior to CBS2 but I don't know for sure if it was prior to CBS3 type. In the case of Smurf, it says on both boxes that they were printed in Holland and packaged in the UK, but no date. There is another number on the box but I don't know what it means. On my French CBS1, it is 7426-0F, and on my CBS3 box it is 7426-0R1. I don't know if it can help to guess which one is older. If anybody knows something about that, it would help me.
