Albert
I need an a/v cable for a Commodore 64 that I can use with the inputs on the back of a Commodore 1702 monitor. That is, separate Luma and Chroma connectors and audio. If you can help me out, please PM me. Thanks, ..Al

jaybird3rd
Well, I thought I still had one of these cables, but it turns out that I sent my last one to another AtariAge member some months ago. So, if anyone has one of these cables to offer, Albert is still looking! Sorry for the confusion!
CGQuarterly
I could probably make you one, Al. PM me if no one else has one for sale. Chris
R.Cade
You can get the cables made for the Sega Genesis from eBay. They are the same- the colors (of the cable ends) will just be different than the red/yellow/white on the back of the monitor.

Edit: Are you talking about a normal composite cable, such as this? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 140384647960 Just want to make sure, before I buy one. CGQuarterly
That cable will give you composite video and not chroma/luma though, won't it? Chris
Albert
That cable will give you composite video and not chroma/luma though, won't it? I think what he's saying is it's wired the same as what the C64 needs for the separate chroma/luminance outputs, but the colors won't properly correspond since the outputs are different for the Genesis (composite and left/right audio). As long as it's wired the same, it doesn't matter. ..Al
CGQuarterly
OK. Let me know if that isn't the case, and I should be able to make you a cable. I need to make myself one anyway. Chris
