Almost complete Lynx collection

The one game I'm missing is Battlezone 2000. So, I ordered it today. If I know my shipping, it should probably come late next week sometime. If I get it and it works, I'd have me a complete Lynx collection, minus Telegames and homebrew releases. Those I figure are too rare and expensive for me to shell out lots of money for, but I would like to get at least T-Tris and the Solitaire game. This took me a total of (off and on) almost 3 years to do. Who knew that when I got my Lynx and those three games (Toki, Baseball Heroes and California Games) at the used game store, that I would come this far. Since I bought that Lynx, I've only seen one other one there, so they must be very rare in my little corner of the world. Once it comes, I'll take a picture of the group as well as the boxes, which I have plenty of, but not for every game, though. Oh, and by the way, this round of the Lynx HSC ends soon, so if you want to get in a round of Awesome Golf but haven't yet, please do so.

Most of them have at least a box or manual. Many have both. An interesting side note: When I opened the box for APB, I found not one, but two manuals. If anyone needs an APB manual, I have an extra one.

Nah, Dont have the manual yet, but still searching for the boxed version.

But at this moment I am waiting for the customs commissioner to hand out my special gameboy light Astroboy version.

I just want to play them gameboy games at night with backlight.

Play Lynx instead of gameboy you have a backlight.

Congrats! I know from personal experience how much time and money it can take to complete a collection.

Does your collection include Songbird titles? Do you have any rare or "holy grail" ones like PITS or CGE 5th? If you're anything like me, you'll continue to add to the collection with those Telegames and homebrew releases. You won't be able to help yourself. :D After all, is a collector really ever done collecting?

Again, congrats! I look forward to seeing pics.

Cheers,

Smeg

I have too much Lynx stuff to count  A couple Lynx 1's, a dozen or so lynx 2's, 3 Pinky/Mandy units, a couple Howard boards, All the original Atari games converted to the original flat cartridge design, several versions of T-tris, Battlezone 2000 +1 revision over released, most of the homebrews, and the list could go on and on.

Trek MD...

I meant to ask...

Are you making your own labels too? I don't recall my flashcart having that label (but I haven't pulled it out for a while now).

Also... that Alpine Games in the possible 'poland special' group... did that come from poland/ebay?

I hope not as I'd hate to see homebrews released as pirate carts. That isn't your fault, but it is one of those things where we may see less homebrews if they are subjected to the pirate scene.

I just can't tell from that pic, being that I can't see the other side.

Great pics of collections here!

I really need to take a few updated pics.

You mentioned that Battlezone once before. Do you have more details on that one? Are there any differences?

All original games converted to flat cart design.... that is really interesting! I suppose it is a matter of taste... you must like that cart design better.

Pink/Mandy units.... Are you interested in parting with one? I'd love to add it to my collection. :)

Please let me know! btw... you jumping on here reminded me of another homebrew I need to still pick up... and I almost forgot about it (your homebrew)

Eric, yes I am making my own labels. All the green PCB carts have labels I've made and some of the black PCB's as well. The FlashCart doesn't come with a label, I also made that one. :)

Insofar as Alpine Games, I bought it from Songbird so I can say it is not from Poland/Ebay. I have bought pretty much all of these from Songbird, GoodDeal Games, B&C, etc. There are a couple that I bought right here on Atari Age and on Ebay. Right now I'm waiting for a couple other carts I've ordered.
