Tempest
Ok this is probably one of the stranger questions I've asked, but I finally made room for my Mac G3 Tower and I want to use it to play some adventure and RPGs. I know they made the Might and Magic series, AD&D Gold Box series, and the Lucas Arts adventures for Mac, but what else? I was into PC's at the time so I never paid attention to Mac releases. Albert
I don't know the answer to your question (for the same reason as you), but it's probably important to know whether the machine is running OS X or Classic Mac OS. ..Al
Tempest
Oh I thought the G3 bit made it clear. I'm running OS 9 (9.2 I think). I forgot that the G3 can run OS X (up to 10.3 I think). Tempest

Emehr
For turn-based RPG's try... Realmz - I loved the sound effects in this game. The Exile series - I didn't get into this one as much but I always admired the author's dedication to the Mac community. He later rebranded it Avernum, I believe. Odyssey: The Legend of Nemesis (which was a commercial product that is now free) TaskMaker - Didn't play this one much but it was fairly prominent back in the day. Ultima III is probably floating around there somewhere but all I see offhand are OS X ports. Of course, there is also Rogue And, yeah, for adventure games you can't go wrong with the LucasArts point'n'click games. Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, and Fate of Atlantis are my personal favorites. There was a Star Trek-inspired game that plays kinda like Starflight if you're into something like that. It's called Rescue!. If you need any of these I can shoot 'em over to you (well, except for the LucasArts games...of course, since I probably shouldn't...and stuff ). Emehr
@madmax2069: nice specs on that G3! My B&W G3 also sports the Radeon 7000, dual-boots 9.2.2 and 10.4.9 (since 10.4.11 doesn't work with my 1.1 GHz processor upgrade), is maxed-out at 1 GB of RAM, and has a similar Pioneer DVD drive (DVR-114D, IIRC). Hey thanks, it took long enough to get it that way. sorry for going off topic. A friend of mine modded the Pioneer Authoring extension for OS9 to gain the iApp burn support for my DVR-110D. I then modded it for someone for a 111D and it worked as well. the same could be done to yours in OS 9. nothing like a fully working system.
