Tempest
Ok this is probably an odd question, but over the weekend I picked up a nice looking Amiga 1080 monitor. Since I don't need it for my Amiga, I thought I'd hook it up to my IIgs since it's bigger and in better shape than my IIgs RGB. The problem is that the monitor port is different than the IIgs. I know the monitor is compatible (they're both analogue RGB monitors) and I've read that you can use it with the IIgs, but I guess I need a different cable. Anyone know of where I can get one? I assume it's a standard RGB > Apple RGB type cable. Tempest

What's NOT apparent is that you'll need to wire a 75 Ohm resistor between composite sync and ground at the DB-9 end of the cable to attenuate the sync signal so that the commodore monitor is happy with it. I built this cable. It works, with the resistor added
