+save2600
Not every single Pac item I have, but close to it. Had to snap a new shot for there's been a few new additions Edited June 18, 2010 by save2600
Cebus Capucinis
The Wal-Mart near me has a claw machine with a 30th Anniversary Pac-Man plush winking and giving a thumbsup! I tried to win it to send it to you for the shrine, but he's too big for the claw itself! Cheating damn claw machine games! (I know you don't collect new stuff but this one was worth it, a cool little plush full Pac-Man!)
+save2600
Aww, thanks for thinking of me Cebus! I do collect some modern stuff, if it isn't cheesy. I'm pretty good on plushes though, but thanks anyway! The ones you see on top of my machine and a couple others are modern. Even have a smaller (8" maybe) Pac plush like you described. The thumbs up Namco Pac-Man is pretty common now and just about the only ones of him you see. I really need to get more Ms. Pac stuff. And the Arby's ghost glasses. I see Miss2600 has an awesome LARGE Pac-Man beer mug
Albert
Very cool pictures, thanks for sharing them. I wonder how many unique classic Pac-Man related items were made? Would be cool to see a coffee table book illustrating (and describing) them all. ..Al
Cebus Capucinis
There were 7 of them made. I have a friend who used to work for Pac-Man, Inc. He told me. You don't need a coffee table book because it would only be 2 pages. Maybe a Pac-Man brochure?
+save2600
No way man, thanks for reminding me... I happen to have a Pac-Man collectibles book! Thing is CHOCK full of neat stuff... http://www.amazon.co...ASIN=0764315544 Divided up by 'products by company'... it pictures a 4-switch Atari 2600 w/ 2 controllers and manual - $75-$100. 2600 Pac-Man boxed - $5-$10. 2600 Jr., Ms. and 7800 Ms. all $12-$15ea. lol Coleco Miniature arcade - $75-$100. And the Tomy Pac-Man game I just bought from Shawn - $20-$25. That's exactly what I paid and didn't even have to look at the "value". Miss 2600
Cool collection save2600! Very nicely displayed, too. Pac-Man was almost as omnipresent back in the early '80s as SpongeBob is today. That Pac-Man collectibles book even shows cans of Pac-Man pasta. I don't remember that as I definitely would've gotten a few cans if I knew they existed (I ate a few boxes worth of Pac-Man cereal back in the day, but didn't keep the boxes unfortunately). The author of the book states you could still eat the Pac-Man pasta (I wouldn't chance it).

Cebus Capucinis
They'd have to have an ATM next to that machine because I'd be draining my bank account to win all those!
nofrills100
Somewhere 'safe' - I've got a bunch of original 80's/early 90's naimco PacMan stickers... I would have got them with a computer game at some stage - still remember they had glitter on them and were really quite cool! It's one of those things I always do - find something nice - and put it somewhere 'safe'... and it takes me years to find again...
+atari2600land
Found these Pac-Man pajama bottoms for adults at Wal-Mart. I saw them and I had to get them, to go along with my Mario pajama bottoms.
Miss 2600
Those toys are adorable! I'd never be able to win one, though. I've never been able to figure out those stupid crane machines. Edited June 26, 2010 by Miss 2600
user42
Those toys are adorable! I'd never be able to win one, though. I've never been able to figure out those stupid crane machines. Looking at the size of the toys vs the size of the claw, I don't think anyone could win those. But, I did just look up clubNamco (as posted on the front of the machine) and it looks like there might be an easier way... http://clubnamco.com/home.php?cat=255 ($99 for the whole set...) I'll be sure to bring my camera for when (not if) I see someone to add to the peopleofwalmart site. Maybe I'll put the pajama bottoms on when I get outside the store and take a pic of me wearing them for their site. +save2600
You can buy these scratchcards over here in Ireland now: http://www.lottery.i...hcards/Pac-man/ I haven't seen those here, but we have had various Pac-Man lottery cards (usually with maze) before. Space Invaders too IIRC. $5 each though - ouch!
PAC-MAN PRIME
Awesome Pac-Collection! I have been collecting Pac-related things periodically through the years too, but don't have a an actual "shrine" set up like that yet. Very cool. So what's your favorite version of Pac-Man? The two-legged, red-eyed one on the arcade cabinet? The Hanna-Barbera cartoon one? Etc? I am currently really liking the modern version of him, as featured in my avatar. +save2600
Been a while! A few new additions, but had dismantled the shrine for a few years to make way for other things in this ever evolving basement. Found a great deal on an antique curio and what better to do with it than fill with my old Pac-Man memorabilia?

+save2600
Man you would love my friends pac-man pinball machine! Have had a few throughout the years. Fun game, but not challenging enough for me to keep long term for very long. Had a couple of Baby Pac's too.
