newcoleco
Since Geocities stopped to support free web hosting in 2009, my Coleco web site on Geocities just disappear from the Internet. Someone did save a few pages at reocities.com, but some pages are missing, including the famous ColecoVision silver catalog scans I've uploaded long time ago. Well, I've decided to re-upload my scans of the silver catalog and the cbs catalog. And for those asking why bothers -or- there are available elsewhere, well it's the scans I've done with the bilingual version (not the english only version) of the silver catalog. http://ccjvq.com/newcoleco/catalog I'm thinking of the possibility to include the scans into the same format as my new web site. Rik
I would like to thank you for your efforts.Reading/viewing about the history via old newspaper clippings, art, magazine scans, game company catalog scans are a big part of the hobby for me and I'm sure many others.A lot of great classic gaming sites have disappeared, the ones who put the effort in putting the stuff back on are appreciated, by me anyway. misspent_youth
I notice how the first Coleco catalog had tons of vaporware whereas the CBS one didn't. Maybe by 1984 Coleco knew the writing was on the wall and just didn't have as much stuff in the pipe. Or maybe CBS didn't want to bother advertising stuff people couldn't already get. Thanks for posting!
