To what extent do AA members use vintage computers for music

Recommended Posts

So, there are many ways to turn classic computers into music machines like Cynth and Synthcarts, MSSIAH, and cv drum. I think there is some new apple II software as well. Does anyone here perform/ have music on the internet to listen to who is a member of this forum? I'd like to hear it.

I'm also interested in hearing music made with broken disk drives, or printers (like that awesome printer synth that paul slocum made).

I have heard a lot of this music in other places, but I want to stress that I only want to know what members of AA are doing. So, please tell me about your experiences. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing your music.

There is the AppleCrate Polyphonic Music Synthesizer, a parallel computer made of eight Apple //e's made by Michael J. Mahon using Nadanet also by Michael

located here http://home.comcast.net/~mjmahon/CrateSynth.html

there is a few MP3's toward the bottom of that page (link above)

there is two versions one is the 8-oscillator rendition of In My Life using the Applecrate I

the other is the 13-oscillator rendition of In My Life using the Applecrate II

but if you want here is the main page http://home.comcast.net/~mjmahon/

Although he isn't a AA member i figured he was worth mentioning.
