Tempest
I have an old BMC monitor that I decided to bring up from my basement to use with my TI-99. The monitor works great, but when it's on it, well, smells funny. It's like an old musty plastic smell, and it only seems to happen when it's running. Can I spray anything on it to get rid of the smell? It's not overpowering, but it does smell funky. Tempest
+Mitch
It's all of the accumulated dust burning off. You could take the back off and use a can of air to try and blow most of the dust out of there. Or just wait until it goes away by itself. Tempest
Oh is that all? I'll just air dust it then, I was afraid it was something more serious. Good to know. Tempest

Pyromaniac605
This isn't a question I could imagine you asking Tempest. Have you been possessed? Darren
