francbin
I am already on your list. I wrote you an email just a few minutes ago. Thanks!
+SpiceWare
Shall I put you on the list ? I'd like to be added to the list, I've got a Vectrex on the way
gorf68
I can build you a VecFlash if you want ? It's a USB flashcart with very fast loading. Can the vecFlash be written to as often as you like, for development testing use? I'v heard that some of these can only be writen to so many times, or is that wrong? Oh, and how much and when would the vecFlash be available? Edited October 17, 2012 by gorf68
Richard H.
Can the vecFlash be written to as often as you like, for development testing use? The flash memory will withstand at least 1 million writes / erases. I've PM'ed you
KevinMos3
How is this coming along? I just got one of these from ebay and it doesn't seem to work. Cart is not detected, so Mine Storm boots up. Is there some special trick to using it that I need to know about?
Mayhem
Assuming everything is in order, dirty circuit contacts or dirty cartridge port. So you've put ROMs on a micro SD card, ran the config tool to move them into the correct config, and generated the menu program that VecMulti looks for? KevinMos3
So you've put ROMs on a micro SD card, ran the config tool to move them into the correct config, and generated the menu program that VecMulti looks for? This is exactly the type of info I was hoping to turn up. I searched for info on how to set it up and found nothing. I've currently just got roms in the root directory of the microSD card. Where would I find the config tool?
Mayhem
Okay dokey... 1) Download this archive: http://www.mayhem64.co.uk/misc/VecMulti_pack.zip . I actually thought this was online, but evidently it isn't. Couldn't find it on Richard's site either. 2) Unzip this to your microSD card. 3) All the ROMs you want to play go in the GAMES directory. If you later find a ROM that doesn't want to work when loaded with the VecMulti, run it through the ROM patcher program in the UTILS directory. 4) Run the MenuMaker program in the root directory. This copies the available ROMs into root and attaches each one to a created menu program that is booted when you turn on the VecMulti. 5) Now put the microSD into the VecMulti and start playing
KevinMos3
Thank you very much for the software and the help. I've got the cart setup now according to instructions, but I'm getting an error message no matter what game I try to load. It says: error!: bank 1 please reset I've checked the roms with the utility and they are all supposed to be good, so I don't know what's going on here. Mayhem
You might have email Richard about that, to see what it might be.
ipren
@Richard H I'm also interested in purchasing a Vecmulti. Just one question, will this work a unit with the 7ADB bios checksum? I bought one of these 72in1 carts and that one doesn't work
Richard H.
Yes
ilovethevectrex
Well there is a cheaper one called vectrom, which is 32 games in 1 for 40 bucks which comes with a case and a cart. But there is a 72 in 1 that's just the board, not the cart or any case. But it's 30 bucks, so it's worth it
raindog
I got one of the 72-in-1 with no case when it seemed impossible to find a Sean Kelly one and before Richard made the VecMulti. I very rarely used it, because its method of game selection was a set of jumpers. I like on-screen menus, personally. More importantly, though, I like playing new homebrews, and VecMulti is my only option for doing that on a real Vectrex.
Richard H.
I'm selling the VecMulti un-cased at the moment. http://www.youtube.c...bed/CeaO_blN-yQ Edited January 11, 2013 by Richard H.
projectcoleco
Hi, Would you be selling this still (un-cased or cased)? I'm considering getting a Vectrex shortly and would probably be interested. Thx I'm selling the VecMulti un-cased at the moment. http://www.youtube.c...bed/CeaO_blN-yQ
Richard H.
Would you be selling this still (un-cased or cased)? I'm out at the moment. I will build more when I've finished making a batch of Virtual Boy carts.
jaybird3rd
I'm out at the moment. I will build more when I've finished making a batch of Virtual Boy carts. Excellent news! I added a Vectrex to my collection last month, and I'll be very interested in one of these when they are available again. (Actually, since I also own a Virtual Boy, I'll probably want to pick up both of your cartridges!)

50TBRD
I sure could use one of those VecMultis to play this game. I refuse to play emulators.
Nognir
I'm also new to the Vectrex party, since I bought mine recently. Will there be any possibility that there will be a VecFlash with a Cartridge built in the near future? Would be glad to have one of those. 128Kgames
Back in June Richard said he had a bunch of "Virtual Boy repros to build first", so hopefully he'll be making the VecMulti again soon. I just need a board to be honest, I picked up a reproduction cart shell on eBay so I'm ready to go.
