+MattelAquarius
That looks strange to my eyes, having seen them with coils for these 20+ odd years. However, they also look pretty cool. Thanks for the pic.
Rev
how do you straighten the cords out. or is it a trade secret?
psquare75
It's a trade secret. I sent them to Yurkie, a fellow AA member, who has been doing Coleco controllers for several months.

psquare75
Yes, he is, and still does. I asked if he would attempt some AQ controllers, and that is the result.
Rev
i will try a new method to straighten them out myself. it involves a microwave and a cinder block. Edited November 26, 2010 by revolutionika
the-topdog
i will try a new method to straighten them out myself. it involves a microwave and a cinder block. Way back in the 70's we used to straighten coiled telephone cords by hanging them from a shower rod with weight on the end and heated the plastic with a hairdryer. I don't know if the same process would work here.
jaybird3rd
Heyyyy, nice! I'll try not to keep you waiting for the multi-cart too much longer! I figured that was Yurkie's work; I had him straighten some loose Intellivision II cords for me, and he did a great job. Just out of curiosity, how long are the Aquarius cords after they've been straightened? Do you notice any more RF interference with straight cords?
