I think Spiker is in the top of the list. Tuthankham, Super Cobra and Congo Bongo are very rare, but since they had the fame to be "bad games" I think that many people don´t care for them and didn´t reach the prices of Spiker or Mud buggies an auction passed recently with sealed Tuthankham and Super Cobra, the go for below 300$, if an Spiker was sold sealed, The price could be at least 1500$, even more perhaps. Someone found a box or two of World Series Baseballs in Venezuela, they pop up now and then and can be had for under $40 if your patient. Fathom on the other hand... +cmart604 Posted December 17, 2010 Share Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) I agree with what Max says about finding these games loose, as almost all of them can be found loose without much difficulty, with the exception of the first two. Spiker is by far the rarest and would likely go for $1000-1500 CIB right now. In fact I can't remember even seeing one loose this year. I think LF2 is rarer than LF1 and would be similar rarity-wise to Congo. Tut is definitely rarer than Super Cobra and I'd say they're both rarer than Turbo, which I'd place 8th. Tempest is right about Fathom being rarer than World Series right now as I'd place WS 11th, although the Super Series Baseball box variation is probably as rare as Spiker if not the rarest of all. I'd also place Melody Blaster alongside World Series right now as it's drawing higher prices CIB at the moment. The two Sears titles that are the hardest to find are Checkers and Backgammon although they don't draw anywhere near the premium that the regular issues do. I'm on my iPhone right now, I'll try to find a pic later. After the licencing deal with MLB expired, they had to change the name of the game. Same black box but with the different title. Although having pondered some more, if we include Body Slam, then Mountain Madness really needs to be there so now I think it's a top 14. Excluding the home-brews I think we need a 15th title, which gets us to likely one of the "D" games, Defender, Dig Dug or Diner... discuss... edintv Posted December 19, 2010 Share Posted December 19, 2010 I remember that when i suscribe to Atariage (like 6 months ago?), someone was selling a losse Congo Bongo for 50$, I arrived too late and was sold, but i bougth some other games from the seller, a nice buy even without the Congo Bongo.
