I've noted that as well. It is certainly a nice copy of an item I never knew existed, but that is quite the run up on price. I placed a LARGE bid ( to me anyway) and got passed by handily at the end. If I had to guess, I'd say the buyer made a decent offer ($2200) via eBay messaging, so the seller added a BIN option for the higher selling price. Probably all happened within minutes.
