The only thing that was obvious was "condition red." I played this game before on namco museum vol 1. Playing vol 5 is how i found out about Metro Cross and Baraduke. I don't know if this is an emulator issue or not. I couldn't find any info about this on the interwebs. I recorded an inp on MAME32 of a score just over 104k showing this bug/trick To do it on MAME32, as soon as the 2nd wave starts move over to the far left side of the screen and don't shoot. Eventually a small bird will crash into you. I will try this at funspot this weekend to see if it's an emulator problem or not. I got that score playing Phoenix (Centuri) I just tried to do this trick on Phoenix (Amstar) and it doesn't work. Very strange it would work on one game and not the other.
