lynx remnant
Dr appointments have not been great. I just got referred out to a specialist. My doc didn't realize the extent of how little I could actually move my arm still. So he is sending me to a specialist next week. I'm sorry to hear that, although hopefully the specialist will be of more help - good luck. I have also sent payment to you now. Thanks so much for getting such a professional looking release done, even despite this setback in your health. Atari_afternoon
"All paid orders before the 18th", he said. Which would be next Monday.
108 Stars
Hey Eric... Sorry to bother you (again), but I heard some people are getting concerned now. It's been a full month now,and still no games were shipped. A big bulk of the games, like 30+ must be paid now, that should be enough to justify getting them to the post office. It's not fair to have so many people who paid wait for so long while the games are ready just because a few are unrelieable. Don't get mad, but I only tell you what's the talk elsewhere and that some people start doubting the whole deal. If you delay any further than the 18th people might start demanding refunds. Ninjabba
There's no need to doubt the whole deal. The beta copies were sent and well received. Granted, people get nervous while spending this amount of money and have to wait for a month, but perhaps real life issues are getting in the way. I wouldn't worry too much, we'll all probably be playing this game by the end of this month. Maybe its easy for me to say I'm patient since I already have the 'beta' from Eric. 108 Stars
I know, and I also said that the beta cards arrived safely when the topic arose. Point is, if people start to think they are cheated for that amount of money the next step could be getting their money back via PayPal, and then Eric might get into trouble. I'm just saying what I heard (read) about peoples' doubts, it's better Eric knows of them being restless than if he one day finds his PP account suspended because nobody was straight but complained to PP. I've been supportive of Eric ever since he first got EotB himself and I have no doubt in my copy arriving myself. But not everyone feels that way, so I thought it's in his best interest to know. I'm sorry, but this is completely ridiculous. He already explained what his shipping plan would be and he has posted here every day or two to keep updating. On top of that, he has a medical issue that sounds serious, at least serious enough that he is probably very tired and needs to rest. Packing stuff up and dealing with the post office is never easy. Frankly, I'm shocked he would want to deal with international shipping at all given that he has to do a customs declaration and take the risk that the game might get lost in transit and not have much proof to provide Paypal if there is an attempted reversal. Unlike a lot of prior sellers, he didn't even collect money until he had a product ready to go. People really need to chill out and just be patient and if anyone is foolish enough to cancel, there are tons of people who would love to have their game. ozyr
It is ready to ship when it is ready to ship. Simple as that. I can wait (I've been waiting on other orders too - for far longer than this one). I've been waiting for this (EotB) for years (missed the first chance years ago), so I'm in no rush at all. EricDeLee, take the time you need to do this right, that is all I ask. Thanks! 108 Stars
Hey, I've said I'm okay to wait. Don't blame the messenger for bringing bad news. I think it's better for Eric to know that there is talk about the matter than not only to have him go online one day and find people pulled their money back. Communication just hasn't been as smooth as it could. People thought he'd ship in increments of 15 or 20 copies (I did) instead of waiting for every payment, and then his arm-problem happened. It just turned chaotic and now some are worrying. Sorry if I have offended you Eric, I was just trying to let you know not everyone is as patient as the AA regulars. EricDeLee
Some of you hit this right on the head of the nail... I have to admit my injury has really slowed me down... obviously past when I wanted to have these out the door. But I ask everyone to please be patient. I always come through, I've enlisted help, and I think everything will be resolved very soon (by you having boxed EOTBs in your hands). I hope everyone understands. I'm a bit slower working with only one hand/arm for the most part (not to mention it is my non-dominant hand). Please don't fret. I'll shoot a picture of all of the Empty boxes I took 2 weeks ago. I thought the picture was dead sexy. LOL The hard stuff is done... Some packing has already taken place.

cthulhu
No problems here with waiting either...I once waited for a package to arrive from the US (I live in the Netherlands) and it took about 6 months to arrive (they shipped it by boat!). Oh yeah, I also once waited 3 months for a shipment of toys from Hong Kong...people from Hong Kong sometimes aren't that fast when it comes to shipping (just start complaining and they ship it within minutes...). It's EOTB for the Lynx, so why shouldn't you be patient?

EricDeLee
Just a follow-up... Roughly 1/2 of my orders have been boxed, postage slapped on the front of the package, and they will be heading to mailboxes other than mine. I was able to get quite a few taken care of today. As always... I thank you for not throwing corn at me! (Do any of you know for sure if the Canada Post strike is over?? Any issues with getting the mail? I saw signs locally at the USPS that they would not send packages due to the worker's strike) Please Don't PM right now (I am in danger of being over my limit and I have a few address concerns from some people that I need fixed!!!) When someone starts recieving that package, please open up a thread or something to let everyone know... and show pictures if you'd like. Thanks!
